Pre-relationship sterek where Stiles is awarded a couples spa package from work but doesn’t really have a significant other at the moment. He’d ask someone in the pack but everyone but Derek is taken. Cue Stiles awkwardly asking Derek and Derek awkwardly accepting. They show up ten minutes before the appointment and refuse to make eye contact as the check in girl fawns over how cute they look together before leading them to the changing room to change into their robes and slippers. They both avoid looking at the other as they disrobe before heading into the lounge. Stiles clicks around on his phone while Derek curls into himself, looking everywhere but at Stiles.
They’re called up and a lady leads them into a massage room before telling them to strip down to their comfort level and lay on the table under the blanket face down. Derek’s face burns as he carries through, and he pretends not to hear Stiles heart skip and thud and pound.
The massage is nice though. Derek jumps at every new touch but melts into the pressure and warm oil. Stiles keeps moaning on the table next to him, obviously into the knots being worked out of his shoulders. Derek can’t help but like the sound, though he tells himself he doesn’t.
Afterwards, they are given a bottle of champagne and let loose in the lounge area. Though Derek can’t feel the affects of the alcohol, the refreshing bubbly beverage helps relax him as Stiles strikes up a convo, asking if the massage helped.
When they’re kicked out (gently reminded their time is done), they decide to get dinner together. Which leads to Stiles inviting Derek back to his. Which leads to them testing out their newly relaxed muscles.
Stiles had a knot to work on after their date.
