Rubatyn is a neoumbrella term based on the word “rubatosis”, AKA the unsettling awareness of one’s own heartbeat. It describes identities, mainly albeit not just genders, connected to intensity, bodily alarm, pulse, adrenaline, emotional intensity, erratic sensations and feelings, fear, panic, blood, the heart, nervous excitement, and the experience of being aware of existing, perhaps a little too much. It is an umbrella term like Kenochoric, Monachoric, and all six of the following terms by this fellow user, possibly like an alternative to “Rubatosian”.

It includes the following themes—

-heartbeat, pulse, throbbing, rhythm, palpitations

-anxiety, panic, dread, fight-or-flight, nervous energy

-adrenaline, urgency, speed, shaking, restlessness, cold sweat

-erratic emotions or behavior, emotional spikes, instability

-hyperthymic energy, euphoria, uncertain grandiosity

-blood, veins, wounds, warmth, bruising, flushing

-body awareness, embodiment, somatic feelings, “this body is too loud”

-survival, fear, instinct, danger, being hunted or cornered

-anger, excitement, obsession, impulsivity, intensity

-medical/hospital motifs: EKG lines, heart monitors, sirens, red lights

-horror/body horror, especially internal horror

-hostile yet desperate restraint, as if one’s heart is climbing up to their throat and they are forced to swallow it back down

Additionally, it can be used for certain xenogenders, such as: A gender that might feel like it is pulsing beneath one’s containment chamber, pulsing faster and faster, its beats turning aggressive and almost violent in order to reach out to the outside world, desperate to come out, to show itself, thus causing conflicting feelings.

Sorry for being inactive. Been dealing with a lot of mental health issues these days, and the rapid succession of having to call psychiatrist after psychiatrist has taken a toll on my motivation, hence why i got so lackadaisical and stopped posting for days. So, apologies, once more. May all of you have a great weekend.

Basically, i was planning on coining a major term (like alterhumanity, gender, orientation, etc.), but for all things perception and existence. This can be modified into every shape possible.

The term was / is “Ontian”, from ontos, meaning “being” in Greek. This can be a general umbrella term for all things perceptual and/or existential, or it can be used as a suffix in my sublabel thingy.

Which, speaking of:

Autontian

This is an Ontian identity or experience in which one’s own existence is the primary focus. This includes identities and/or experiences describing how a being (or beings) experiences or relates to their own being or “mode” of existing. Experiences regarding existence itself may still be present, but are secondary (or even tertiary).

Here, the symbol is pointing downward to somewhat symbolize the intrinsic nature of the “sublabel”.

How it can be used —>

Auto- or Aut- (meaning “self”) as the prefix, and -ontian as the suffix.

Exontian

Experiences concerning one’s own existence may still be present, but are secondary (or even tertiary).

The symbol points upwards, thus somewhat symbolizing the extrinsic nature of the “sublabel”.

How it can be used —>

Exo- or Ex- (meaning “outer”) as the prefix, and -ontian as the suffix.

Panontian

An ontian identity or experience in which both one’s own existence and existence overall are of comparable and/or inseparable focus. The being (or beings) experiences the nature of their own existence and the nature of existence itself as interconnected, equally significant, or quite literally impossible to separate.

Two symbols point in opposite directions, hence the duality of the “sublabel”.

How it can be used —>

Pan- (meaning -all) as the prefix, and -ontian as the suffix.

X-Schlag is an umbrella term for when a specific stimulus, environment, concept, object, being, place, or phenomenon “strikes” someone in a way that strongly affects their internal experience. It can involve the following experiences, but is not limited to:

-Overflowing / Intense emotions

-Altered / Distorted perception(s)

-Phantom sensations

-Mild disconnect from the rest of the environment

-Phantom shifts and urges

-Involuntary bodily reactions

-Faux (or seemingly real) memories

-Tachycardia (Racing heart)

-Intense Euphoria, Dysphoria, or something between, or even completely different

This is not limited to alterhumans; anyone can relate to this! It is mildly based on Stendhal Syndrome, but the term itself is not inherently pathological. Everyone can experience these “schlag experiences” differently, and can relate to one or more examples at once. It can be positive, negative, neutral, multiple of them, or something else.

It comes from the German word “Schlag”, to hit.

This can come from a place of gender dysphoria, yearning, destiny, and anything else. There is no wrong way to use this term.

The suffix can be -neldic.

Alderkenic

Interpressine is an identity descriptor for two or more identity components that are mutually dependent on one another. Each component may feel faint, inaccessible, incomplete or nearly nonexistent when experienced alone, but becomes distinct and coherent through its relationship with the other component or components.
