Quoimind/Quoipsyche is an identity for those who cannot — or do not wish to — define themselves as singlet or plural, either because the distinction is confusing, doesn't feel applicable, or actively rejects these categorizations.

I decided to coin this term based on my own experiences. Even though I can't quite fit into the "singlet" category, I also can't exactly relate to plural experiences. My mind is too confusing for me to be able to tell them apart, and terms like plurallet, demiplural, and plural-adjacent don't feel right either. So, after reading about some quoi experiences (quoiattractional, quoigender, quoimodal, etc.), I thought this would be an appropriate term to cover that (and perhaps other experiences as well).

I don't know if anyone has coined something similar before, but if so, just let me know!

HOST ;; We're collectively reciprosexual and reciproromantic! Meaning we only feel sexual and romantic attraction when it's reciprocated! This doesn't apply to platonic, aesthetic or sensual attracion tho, we are collectively alloplatonic, alloaesthetic and allosensual (some headmates aren't though!)

For us reciprosexuality/romanticism is like having a dam holding back our ability of feeling attracted to someone. The possibility is always there but the dam only lifts and allows us to actually feel attraction when the other person is explicitly attracted to us too. Idk how to elaborate for us it just feels wrong when its not reciprocated and it's not even a moral thing, we just don't feel attracted to people who aren't attracted to us.

It is easier this way, we're never the one whose feelings aren't reciprocated, it's usually the opposite lol

DARCY ;; I'm a sex repulsed asexual mostly because I hold OCD compulsions related to sexuality. yeah. i know there's a lot of stigma around asexuals being medicalized and pathologized and a lot of pushback from the community against asexuality being related to disorders or trauma but i still think it's valid to identify as ace or any kind of aspec identity because of disorders or trauma or dysphoria or whatever because im not a cop you're free to identify as whatever the fuck you want. as long as it's not assumed it's the default reason people are ace it should be okay. just my opinion tho i'm just one headmate from a gigantic polyplex and most of us are aspec in some way anyways.
