TikTok posted by @ jaquavian.demarcu, showing an older lady on a couch, addressing the camera. Her voice is soft and kindly. Her hair is pulled back in a sensible style and she wears glasses. Her blouse is a casual floral top.
The video is intercut with brief scenes from the end of the recording, accompanied by creepy music, spooky reverberations and shrieks.
She removes a large bottle of carbonated soda (Pepsi) from a plastic bag on the coffee table in front of her as she calmly speaks. She then removes some Mentos mints from their packaging roll and places them on the table next to the bottle.
As she is doing all this, she monologues to the camera, smiling gently and with absolutely placid tones:
You know, I found out the hard way the last time that I tried this... and I haven't seen this done with any other sodas before, and I just don't think it's going to be as crazy.
She then twists the cap off the bottle of soda and pops one Mentos into the Pepsi within. As can be expected, the soda erupts in a jet of foam and liquid projecting through the bottleneck right at her, as she screeches:
Earghh!!! Orghh!!! Oh not again!!!
The video is intercut throughout with ominously-echoey clips of her being sprayed in the face by Pepsi-Mentos foam, foreshadowing how she will soon be recoiling, shrieking, gurgling and flailing about, trying desperately (but to no avail) to stem the relentless soda tsunami drenching her entire person as well as the table and the couch.
