i love sam’s frustration and i love his anger and his sarcasm and his meanness but i love him when he’s happy, too, when he’s tilting his head back and laughing freely, and when he’s grinning all sly and sideways because dean said something snide, and when he does that sheepish and awkward smile because he’s at a loss, and when he’s laughing in shock and surprise and reckless adrenaline after a hunt, and when he grins in that boyish mischievous way because he figured something out, and when he’s smiling all soft and sweet,,,, i love sam at his lowest but I love him at his happiest too
