Hey guys! Finally I’m able to post! I’m back in A6 again. I was so excited to start bujoing this year with my MTN in standard size but the inserts I got bled bad with my fountain pens 😢. I ordered new ones but it hasn’t arrived yet so I had to start somewhere. Lesson learned, pen test is a must. So here it is, my future log for the first quarter of 2018 in my Rhodiarama A6. honestly one of the best things grad school’s taught me so far is it’s okay to be wrong or admit you don’t know something. i used to be terrified and embarrassed to be wrong or not know the answer to a question. but now my boss says “i don’t know” all the time. i hear other professors go “huh that’s interesting i’ve never thought about that!” during lectures or seminars. i’ve witnessed nationally renowned speakers say “you know what, i have no idea” to hundreds of people in the audience. and when someone’s wrong they just go “i apologize. that’s my mistake” and it’s great. i have so much respect for people who can admit they don’t know or were wrong about something. because honestly any specialty in science is sooo huge and always changing and it’s just impossible to know everything about anything ya know? so not knowing something or admitting you’re wrong is a-ok and i love it.

I started learning so much more when I learned how to be wrong graciously, and accept that other people might know more than me or see something from an angle I haven’t

August 10 ~ 3/100 Days of Productivity

I am exhausted! I had another full, 8 hour day of leading my kids camp – my coworker is still sick and I’m sure I’m not supposed to be responsible for so many kids at once (I can’t even turn my back without an argument starting, I wish I was exaggerating 😓)

I treated myself to froyo after work, picked up craft supplies for the camps, and coloured a couple of pages in my bio colouring book – time for some well deserved sleep 😴😴

08.12.2017; my arabic exam is really close, so i must start working harder now. i don’t think i’ll do great because i’m way behind my classmates (i joined the class two months later than them), but i feel like i’m learning so much, i feel way more confident with the language now, and it makes me so happy ♡

also, i started a new book under my father’s recommendation: ‘the seven minutes’ by irving wallace.

⭐️ Starting on my physics study guide! I’m actually really excited about getting back to school, so a bit of a routine is established. I’m a creature of habit, so knowing that there are assigned tins blocks for me to do things in really helps with keep my mood and life level.

I’m liking the Earth-tone aesthetic I’ve got going on here, so I think I might apply it to other projects in the future!
