Hello friends, Just wanted to give you an update on how things are progressing with my voice. I went ahead with the anti-reflux operation in April and am happy to say it went really well. But while it helped with the reflux, it didn't make much of a difference to my voice. After a lot of doctors appointments and scans it turns out the problem was a weakness in my left vocal chord, probably caused by a virus. The road to recovery has been a long and frustrating one but I'm happy to say it's improving slowly. I'd say I'm about 50% better now. But it's still going to be a while before I can record. We tracked all the instruments for this album at the end of 2016 and toured Canada at the beginning of last year. It was at the end of that tour (just a few weeks before I was supposed to record) that these issues began. Talk about shitty timing... I know some of you contributed towards the album over 18 months ago and I feel terrible that this has delayed us getting it you. But I'm also amazed and humbled at the support and encouragement you've given me. So I just wanted to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for that. And for you continued patience.
