MS3 came and went like the wind

I have 3 months of ms3 left!

ngl guys haven’t had pics to post because in hospitals/clinics all day but things are going really well. just finished surgery! it was amazing! on obgyn now. I was reflecting on how much I’ve grown in just this last half the year and im very proud

med school has been tough tho especially with the high expectations I put on myself. I feel like a shell of who I used to be. I keep telling myself it’ll be over soon I’ll defrost my true self again when the tough parts are over but right now im literally just a shell oof

anyways the other day I was having one of those days where I was questioning if this career and everything I’ve worked for has been worth it. the next day while making some small talk with a patient they opened up about their depression and life outlook but they told me “there are more good days than bad days” and I haven’t stopped thinking about that since

took my pediatrics osce last week and am deep studying for the shelf exam this coming week :O I went into peds telling myself to have an open mind because truthfully I was really nervous to work with children, I don’t have children in my family bc everyone’s grown and hasn’t had kids yet so I generally felt uncomfortable starting out but I feel like I surprised myself with how well I connected with the kids and their families!!! I also finally gained insight into primary care aims and inpatient service. although I must say I still don’t think pediatrics is for me 😅
