Just wanted to let you guys know that I’m in a really good place. I’ve never been happier and content. Plus my friend just got a new kitty.

stayed up all night studying the milky way like this

Even visited different countries like Italy

But none of my posts have ever been as successful as this selfie with a cat

They only “love”, “respect” and “protect” these groups as long as they’re compliant, as long as they’re in agreement with the tenants of social justice, if they ever deviate from the group, they become a target.

One of my friends in the Boston area took this video and gave me permission to post it. She writes: “ I stood there for twenty minutes, easily. Hitler Youth kept trying to preach about “the evils of the Jews” and the big guy barely let him get a word in edgewise. At one point, the big guy yelled, “I will be here ALL DAY” and the crowd cheered.”

Every time he opens his mouth to speak though, the biker yells “AHHHHHHH!!!” Until the man in the suit shuts up again. When the man in the suit takes a breath and opens his mouth, the biker doesn’t even let him get started and just screams “AHHHHH”…. This happens a few times.

The guy in the suit plows ahead but the biker screams and says “No no no no!!!”

2) The guy is “passionate about” hating and inciting violence against Jews. I’m passionate about information literacy, candle-making, and giving snuggles to my pet rabbit. There’s a fucking difference, there. 

The First Amendment does not protect your right to air your opinion without interruption or consequence. It does not guarantee you the right to be heard. It does not protect Simon & Schuster from economic blow back if they decide to publish poorly-reasoned, Ayn Randian, 3rd-grade-reading-level garbage thoughts. It doesn’t mean I have to read your DMs. It does not promise 15 minutes of fame or a base number of Twitter followers. It does not protect you from being considered a waste of space by your community.  

It does ONE THING: It denies the government–this is important, pay attention, the first amendment limits GOVERNMENT, not private citizens!–the ability to pass laws that limit your ability to assemble, speak or demand redress from–you guessed it!–the government.  What does that mean in practical effect? It protects your right to speak or assemble without being ARRESTED. That’s it. And even that is not without caveat – you do not have the right to incite violence, for instance.

Here I was, just eating a cup of applesauce under the 14-year-long assumption that the reason a small infant was able to remember something was because this was a fictional world of magic, but no, now this entirely reasonable and somewhat less terrifying bubble has burst and I’m never going to recapture that innocence.

I was always under the assumption that he was remembering seeing it as a one-year-old, even though as an Education Major I know that people usually can’t remember that far back but I was just like, hey, he’s magical and maybe Jo just stretched the suspension of disbelief

But now

What if the green that Harry always saw, especially when the Dementors were around, was the small part of Voldemort’s soul reliving that moment that, as someone else pointed out, is probably the worst moment of his life.
