Made a hand drawing guide
Just noticed that the n in clean got left out oops
here’s a quick Timelapse of me drawing some hands that could also help.
(Sry there so messy)
When I draw hands, I always think about fingers looking like sausages.
as someone who still can't draw hands, the ai allegations are going to make me loose my shit because I KNOW HANDS AREN'T SUPPOSED TO LOOK LIKE THAT I JUST DON'T KNOW HOW TO FIX IT YET
Somehow I messed up drawing this hand so bad, that when I flipped it vertically from the wrist down it was pretty much exactly what I wanted

Upsides of only really drawing consistently for artfight: Hehe my art is making people happy!
Downsides of only really drawing consistently for artfight: Holy fuck I forgot how much I hate drawing hands. Two!? For Each Person!?! Fuck off this can’t be real.
Had an idea for a hand rig in Unity2D. Each finger is just a line renderer. No bones, just control points, bezier settings, and a rotation script that uses the line base rotation to rotate the other points. I can even spread, tighten, and adjust the joint lengths and line widths! Best part, you can import a drawing of any kind, make it a material, and assign it to the line renderer. For those of you who like a more detailed finger. Of course, this doesn't account for top sides of fingers, but I'm sure there's a solution I just haven't figured out.
