What do you mean with the first post you made this month? What did he do to sh*romi with the LGBQT+ Thing?
i'm sorry, this got a little longer than i intended so i'm putting it under a cut
A while ago he posted an answer on the reddit stating that Shiromi would date any student council member which led to a lot of people declaring her as lgbt+ rep in yansim
Probably also worth mentioning is that the only other possible rep we have - male!Ayano, plus Taeko and the rivals in her timeline - is currently locked behind the crowdfunding campaign. Imo this is very much a situation of dev trying to milk the lgbt+ community's wallets by promising us rep if and only if we fork over money to him, not to mention that he goes to lengths to make sure we know that the rivals are only bisexual in the Taeko timeline and their sexuality is "unknown" if Taro is male. All of this makes Shiromi the only rep we have right now
The biggest issue I have is that Shiromi's only character trait is being abnormal and disturbing. Almost everything we know about her so far ties back to how ~strange and quirky~ she is (which is a problem all on its own but I'm not going to get into that right now). Other students either see her as a joke or hate/fear/are disgusted and annoyed by her. And she is a horrible and disgusting person in canon: she grabs stray dogs off the street and grooms them only to kick them back out, she looks up skirts, collects belly button lint, etc. With all of this, it feels as though him adding the trait that she likes girls is just meant to be another thing on the "gross weirdo" pile
I also feel like she's almost definitely heading in the direction of the predatory lesbian stereotype, with the looking up skirts thing + the fact that the other sc members she would apparently date are all canonically uncomfortable around her
When answering another question about lgbt+ characters, he said that Shiromi "isn't bound to our mortal labels", which to me feels like he's using it as a punchline. And again, all of this was only brought up on reddit - Shiromi doesn't count as representation if it's not even in the actual source material
I have a lot of general issues with how this game and its developer have treated the lgbt+ community, but even putting all that aside, I think Shiromi is a big red flag for how representation in this game will look going forward. That's why I'm not getting my hopes up for this supposed character in the next build
