Now before I begin there are some other things I need to establish. Some points that are brought up in the 1980s mode. Academy high school is meant to be an elite school. Ryoba herself brings up that the Yakusa could ransom any random student and get a shit load of money for them. So um, why don't any of the students suite this type of setting? Pretty much the majority of the students with the exception of Megami and maybe Musume don't really feel like they would belong in this type of school. In my mind an Elite school would primarily cater to educating the children of the rich, famous, and influential. We're talking millionaires, billionaires, celebrities, politicians etc. None of the students feel like they suite this setting. And this is where the bulk of my inspiration for the new backstories is going to come from. So now let's talk about Taro Yamada aka Senpai.(please ignore Osana for now, I do not like how she turned out. I have redone her...again) I did try to keep him simple and maybe lean into a stereotypical pretty boy design for his appearance, but that's only because his original design looks like Yandere-Dev's self insert and honestly I think he looks more like he Ayano could be siblings than anything else. What Taro really needs to be a good character is a fucking personality. All I really know about him is he has a sister, only 1 friend, likes to read, and likes classical music. Sadly I don't think a couple hobbies are really indicative of a personality. Maybe if I knew more about what he likes to read, or if he had a few more friends he could have conversations with to give me some idea. But he doesn't so the only real thing I have to work with is the music thing. So that's what I'm going with. Taro comes from a family of famous musicians. He is a musical prodigy whose instrument of choice is the piano. I imagine that he specializes in classical with a modern jazzy flare(I have no idea if this is even possible just go with it. He's the prodigy not me). He is of course set to inherent the entire family fortune and has pretty big legacy to live up to. In-between school work and his after school piano lessons Taro enjoys the simple pleasures of hanging out with the few friends he's managed to gain with such a strict schedule and expectations. As well as catch up on some light reading. He mostly spends his time in the light music club. He is of course incredibly popular due to his handsome appearance, friendly attitude, and let's face it, his family name. Pretty much every female student in the school has a crush on him, with an exception here or there. Only the rivals are really brave enough to actually make an attempt at romancing him. The rest are satisfied with merely a glimpse. Although do all of them actually like him that way?
