being intersex is quite possibly the most isolating thing iāve ever experienced. all my life, i felt alone. that no one in the world knew what was wrong with me. that i was a weird, abnormal freak.
i felt horrible. and so, i made sure that i would make people like me feel seen
every day, i see people sharing the terms i created, talking about how relatable they are. when i first saw someone talking about how seen they felt (i love you smilepilled!!!!) my heart was a damn opera, it was singing so much!
while things are pretty bad right now, iām grateful to have provided a little bit of comfort to those who need it

A while ago I saw someone on Twitter propose ātomcatā as endearing slang for trans men (with no real reasoning, just cause they thought it sounded cute) and Iāve been so attached to that idea since. Like itās genuinely so cute. Like awww youāre a proud fat furry little barncat that likes to tussle with its friends and puff up its cheeks and protect its lands and people. Isnāt that the sweetest thing. Isnāt that what being a trans man is, at the end of the day?
