Better picture of the supplies. The oil says it's for hedge crossing; I'll be trying it out tonight instead of my homebrew flying ointment.
Hello Again! Hope you are doing well :)
this is another question about protection and connection.
What do you use for protection, what kind of crystals do you use and how do you clean them? What crystals do you use in strengthen the connection to your tools?
Sorry if this is a mouth full, good days!
🪻
I'm good!
I do all kinds of things for protection.
I don't use a lot of crystals. But my favorite is smoky quartz.
I like to use sound, smoke, moon water, and moon light. (Mostly the last three.) It's really just what I have on hand to cleanse.
I like to connect with my tools by using them. I feel like (in a way) tools want to do their thing more than anything. Using them is the point of them.
Aside but, I try to break my tools in a little. Like no matter how nice my deck is I'm not going to be upset if the cards get that little bend from shuffling.
That's kinda part of connecting. Like my cards are the way they are because of how I shuffle. My books smell like the incense I burn the most. My silver tools are more tarnished where I hold them.
Part of connecting for me is leaving my mark.
I hope this made sense. <3
Bananas & Medication (as per my last post!)
Hey! Some people asked about bananas and medication. So, this is strongly going to depend on your medication! You can have the same medication but different production companies and slightly different changes, you can have completely different medications, your medication could be dependent on your country, etc -- which is why I suggested you do your own research to be sure! For example, I was taking a mental health medication a year or two ago and could not eat bananas or any juice whatsoever (as well as no tea whatsoever!), as well as grapefruit! I know another individual who's on a medication for stomach issues and also can't have bananasor grapefruit as well as a couple other fruits / veggies. And so on. Super common, but if you're curious about your own medication, please do research it!! It's better to be safe than sorry and hopefully bananas are just fine for you, especially in a tolerable amount. Which is to also add on, this may depend on your body and medication! For example, you may have the same condition as someone else but the banana / ingredient may interact poorly with them whereas it doesn't with you, simply because of the nature of your condition, your symptoms, how you handle the medicine, etc. So for example, some mental health medications are going to thin your blood a bit -- so you don't have to necessarily "have a blood issue" for this to be an issue with bananas. I will also say: some domestic animals cannot eat it on medication either, even if they're a breed or species that can regularly consume bananas otherwise! Really it's just about doing your research because most of the time, doctors at least in my country are not going to tell you to look into fruits and vegetables like this and sometimes they don't share any ingredients at all (especially with someone hopefully about to finish my psychology degree, they really don't share everything like I think they should). Now, with all that being said, here's a couple quick and easy sources to read more about it:
"Potassium-rich foods like bananas, oranges, and leafy greens can cause problems when taken with ACE inhibitors, which are used to lower blood pressure. These drugs can increase potassium levels in the body, and consuming potassium-rich foods can cause a dangerous buildup of this mineral." - Advance ER and AARP says something similar
Bananas decrease acetaminophen potency in in vitro assays is a study that was done to show that specific variations of bananas decrease acetaminophen potency whereas other variations may not
The resource I originally linked (Drugs.com – Know More. Be Sure.) is a great website for just generally checking your drug interactions and a few other things too! Worth exploring if you need the resource and relevant to the topic, as I know many of us don't know about the website! You can check it to see if it interacts with your specific medication as well, I found the following posts made in regards to different medications and bananas (very brief search I did here):
Can I eat a banana and take Atacand with it?
When taking lisinopril is it OK to eat a banana?
And many, many times, you will see you can have bananas but limited. So, don't eat them every day in your breakfast like you were before, but moderation is OK as long as you research it, examine your symptoms and listen to your body, talk to your doctor, etc - because how it works with your specific body may not fit the generalizations! Here's another post on Losartan and talking about how you can eat in moderation.
If you need to, you can take it one step further and look into how medicines or other products made with bananas may interact with your medications as well. You can see the safety of the item (such as this recall post that was made) as well. It's overall a great starting point to your research!
For a few more resources:
This article talks about how you might react negatively to taking Advil and eating bananas and other OTC meds
I think a few of the articles above also mentioned this, but this article talks about how bananas can reduce high blood pressure - so also something worth taking into consideration depending on your medication! Look into diuretics if needed.
And like I said in my other post - it's not just bananas! Other herbs, fruits, veggies, can make a difference with this sort of thing. It's important to stay mindful, even if you don't react negatively. For example, someone I know is usually absolutely fine with eating bananas and grapefruit because she just doesn't react negatively, but one particular time that was not the case and she had to call her doctor -- it happens, so it's best to be aware of what you're putting into your system and what the risks are, that way if something unfortunate does occur you can advocate for yourself and get to the bottom of the issue quickly.
Hope this helps!

This goes for FRUITS AND VEGETABLES too! Yes, fruits and veggies!
Bananas are harmful (even life-threatening) if you're taking almost any medication - even simple things like birth control! Grapefruit is also a popular one people avoid - DOCTORS WILL NOT ALWAYS TELL YOU THIS, SO PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH!
