It's the 2nd summer of me renting a garden allotment, and I'm mostly doing better than I did the previous summer. I'm watering more, I tilled the soil back in March, and I'm trying to cover all naked soil with bark, straw or grass cuttings. The rhubarb is beginning to intimidate me, because I've harvested almost 10 kg by now and it just keeps growing. I fucked up the brussel sprouts tho - turns out that those insect nets were neccessary after all:

When I worked at a big art fair back in April, I bought a 2nd hand mirror for the dressing room for 50 kr and ended up taking it home with me afterwards. Around the same time I found a tiny Jesus figure on the sidewalk.

2 weeks later:

I'm in the middle of figuring out which plants will thrive out on the balcony. Based on results so far, it seems to offer the same environment as a barren cliffside. I do love extremophiles tho.
