This is a database that exist to chronicle (under the category item) every item: everything that exists or doesn't exist. Everything. There are item ids (q and number) in the hundred millions. And the first seven are about fundamental existence.

The Catalan version of Wikipedia (spelled Viquipèdia) was the 3rd Wikipedia to be created, after the English and German ones, though the German version would remain empty for months. For this reason, the first ever non-English article published on Wikipedia was the entry for àbac (abacus) in the Catalan language.
Since its creation in 2001, the Catalan community has been one of the most active Wikipedia communities in the world with the objective of making reliable information in our language freely available to anyone.
In 2010, the Catalan Wikipedia became the first version of Wikipedia to rank high quality in all the articles of Wikipedia’s List of Articles All Languages Should Have, reaching this milestone even before English. On other occasions, Wikipedia has awarded its Catalan version for being the one with best quality of articles. Currently (January 2022), the Catalan Wikipedia has a total of 692,785 articles, 1,722,435 total number of pages, 14,539 local files, and 1,722,435 registered users.
All of this comes from a language with 11 million speakers which has been banned and persecuted, and whose speakers saw the internet as a potential space for all cultures and all languages, including ours, to prosper thanks to its grassroots way of working.
