Targeted Wiki editing projects to encourage people to contribute specifically towards certain areas of the Wiki. One of the long-standing issues for me as an admin is the fact that the different canons have been blended, they have merged. The wiki was created for The Chronicles & its adaptations, but over time the Walden-Disney-Fox adaptation became The Canon & everything else secondary. So an overarching project is to separate the different canons, starting with encouraging people to focus on these two Walden-Disney films. I was planning on creating a project page for VODT (2010) but have put that on the backburner so far.

Permanent Non-structured Projects:

Animals

This is a project that was started way back in 2009 & still hasn't been finished. Essentially, the goal is to limit individual animal pages. There are four different masterposts, the info can be added there and does not necessarily deserve its own page.

For example, Aslan is one of the core characters, but does that mean lions deserve their own page? Debatable since there aren't that many other lions in The Chronicles, actual book canon, and the interactions can be summarized fairly shortly.

On the other hand, there are a couple of notable bears in The Chronicles and there are quite a few interactions with the animal. Here we can debate that it deserves their own page, because it's not just a one off, in book canon, or something that can be summed up in a sentence.

Article stubs

Basically short pages that needs to be expanded. There are three levels here; Expansion, Stub; Stub section. Pages marked with the Expansion label are essentially just skeletons, usually but not always it's pages created as part of the "canon separation project" & the info can be found on WikiNarnia, you just need to move it.

Stubs are pages that have some info but are fairly short, or things could be expanded on a bit more. Stub sections, or Incomplete sections, is for when it's just a specific section of the page that needs work & not the entire thing.

Images

We have images/files uploaded to this Wiki all the way back in 2005. The statistics page tells me there's a total of 2 124 files, or 510.05 MB, on here. I have started the outline for proper categorization, however, the most important & crucial part at the moment is to sift through all of these files & label the ones that needs to be deleted.

Candidates to be deleted are the ones that: 1. Copyright violation, 2. Are duplicates, 3. Are in poor quality or low resolution.

Language links

WikiNarnia has sister wikis in the Indonesian, German, Spanish, French, Hungarian, Japanese, Polish, Portuguese & Russian languages. Language links should be added if both wikis have a page on the same topic. All WikiNarnia pages that currently has zero language links can be found here.

References

Cite your freaking sources! Even if it's something from the Chronicles that "should be obvious for everyone", you still need to cite where you got that info from! Okay, deep breaths, chill out girl...
