genuinely asked myself this the other day. needed to slap text on a photo and draw one box around a screenshot detail and instead of booting up photoshop I found a browser editor that just does the basic stuff instantly. no install, no account, free.

the kind of edits that don't need a real design tool

a box or circle to point at something in a screenshot

brightness/contrast fix because the lighting was bad

slap a filter on it (grayscale, sepia, whatever) for a quick mood change

none of this needs layers or masks or a design suite. this handles it in like a minute.

quick social posts — text over a photo, done in under a minute, ready to post

product photo fixes — bad lighting? bump brightness/contrast. want a "sale" badge? just type it on

screenshots for docs/blog posts — circle or box around the important part instead of describing it in words

not trying to replace photoshop, just — for the 90% of edits that are actually this simple, this is faster.

Based on LΛMPLIGHT’s Shasavistic Music Theory, I coded (100% by hand) a webapp that makes you guess the justly-intonated interval, either as JI steps or as a Shasavic note name. The “commas” question set is especially hard for me!
