On one patrol, Tim and Damian pull a stupid and reckless move while patrolling with Jason. When all three of them get back to the cave, Damian wanders off to complete his post-patrol routine. By the time he gets back to the main area of the cave, Tim is red in the face from laughter while Jason lectures him on the reckless stunt Tim pulled on patrol. Poor, naive Damian is all smug, thinking he escaped punishment for the reckless move he also pulled on patrol. if you made a blog for mainly your own enjoyment- not to cater to others, your blog can be inaccessible as fuck, I see blogs the same as diaries or sketchbooks, you don't have to show them to anyone or everyone, decorate them how you want to, you aren't expected to add braille to your diaries or notebooks- even if you publicly share them! So why the hell are you considered the devil and ableist for not providing image description, plain text or even inclusive language in your post? I'm sorry, but my blog is for my enjoyment first and foremost, if you happen to come across it and enjoy it, great! if it isn't for you, it isn't for you! If the theme isn't for you? ITS NOT FOR YOU, if its inaccessible? ITS NOT FOR YOU! if it uses language you don't like? ITS NOT FOR YOU! Accessing my blog isn't a necessity! You don't NEED to access my blog! I promise you, you will do fine without my blog! And yes, I get wanting accessibility, that is more then fair! And those who are willing to put descriptions, not theme their blog, or do other small sacrifices, good! Great even! but the moment you DEMAND someone to brush aside how to theme their own diary/sketchbook/blog? Especially if you deem them ableist? that's where the issue rises. (as an extra: why its not ableist to not make your blog accessible? because if your blog is not catered for other people- and is mostly if not entirely for yourself, it exists for YOUR enjoyment first and foremost, its a hobby, and for someone to ask you to quit your hobby for them because they can't access your specific instance of that hobby is plain wrong! And no, you can't demand them to just private their blog/hobby either, if they want some people to access it, then it is what it is) So kindly, to those who have bad vision, need screen readers, or anything else that causes them to need image descriptions, plain text and/or more? With plenty of annoyance from me, stop villainizing people who decide to theme their blogs and/or not provide image descriptions, if its not accessible, its not for you, and its ok, you'll find another enjoyable and accessible blog, you'll be fine! just stop fucking villainizing people who have hobbies!

confession. im diagnosed with hEDS. had hypermobility my entire life, got tossed around between a bunch of specialists trying to figure out what my issue was.
my WP has, spontaneously (from my perspective), started talking about their own hypermobility. and how they /also/ might have EDS. and i know, /trust me/, how fucking stupid it is to get so upset about it. but just. this is my thing. i /know/ diagnosis is a privilage in a lot of situations, for these types of things, and i will support self-diagnosis until the fucking earth explodes, but just. i dont know. it makes me feel like. dejected. i dont even really understand why, im just. upset about it.
i think i just have this thing about stepping on peoplesβ toes, both for others and myself. like. my WP had a small uh. i dunno it feels mean to say βcrisisβ but what else can i call it. about maybe having STPD. and for a while myself, ive been wondering the same thing; whetheror not i have STPD (from what i know; just possible stray symptoms of it. or whatever). but they got there first, and they seemed stressed about it, so im not going to talk about it, because thats fair. thats Theirs. im not taking that from them, just like how /I/ dont want them to take the. i guess concept of EDS from me. which Again. thats unreasonable, i know that, but i dunno like. what to do about it haha.
like and i love our WP, obviously i do, theyre my Worthy Person, theyre cool as fuck. but just. uuuuuggghhhhh.

I get it, I can be the same way with ASPD and NPD. Mostly I'd just try to remind yourself that someone else having it doesn't take your struggles away from you, and remind yourself that you ARE allowed to talk about it. Even if other people are experiencing it in your vicinity
