"I'm looking at the two sets of eyebrows…" – A lovely event with the cast from back in 2016. Eugene talks about how amazing it is to act opposite his son. Catherine talks about how emotional it made her, the first time she was in a scene with them. But she also gets everyone laughing quite a bit. I think this is one of the first things I ever made for the Schitt's Creek fandom.

"I was watching Daniel as David, and watching him allow himself to be loved." – We revisit Patrick singing to David in Open Mic, overlaid with quotes from Catherine O'Hara about what it was like to film that scene. As soon as I found this interview, I could see the gif set in my mind. The end result almost matches my vision, which is a rare thing.

"I just don't think I'm finished with this place." – A parallel set that starts with David and Patrick talking about how they didn't want or expect to be in Schitt's Creek for long…and ends with them finding their home in each other and in that town. I had been playing with the idea for this one for about 8 months before I finally managed to make some decisions and finish it.

"Some of the easiest reacting of my life." – Dan and Noah talk about filming The Olive Branch. Listen, I just love everything about this interview. I could watch it on a loop. And I mean, that's what the gifs are for, really.

Summary - A glimpse of Patrick and David moving into the cottage.

For some reason, I got really into the idea of David having to go see dentist Patrick and just getting high and ranting about him being hot. Oh, and it’s from Stevie’s POV because I wanted a challenge.

Somehow, David had managed to flirt through his appointment, making the dentist laugh and look at David with the biggest heart eyes Stevie had seen in person. He drooled at one point, and the dentist gently wiped his chin. It was gross in multiple ways.

The farmer’s market was inspired by the time I went to a farmer’s market that had live music. And then I thought about how it would feel to hear an accordion in the wild. So naturally that led to me having Patrick play accordion at a farmer’s market where David is selling his wares.

As he straightened the containers of body milk, ensuring they all faced out at the exact same angle, a sound rang out that reminded David of some kind of animal in distress. His reverie was broken, and he whipped his head up to find a man giving an accordion some experimental… pushes? Squeezes? Whatever the terminology, this man was clearly gearing up to play this instrument across from David. And that just wouldn’t do.

hogwarts!au, messy meet, “is that the best you can do?”

David lounges back on the grass in the courtyard of Hogwarts between classes. He needs a break the claustrophobia of being stuck inside the castle walls. As much as he likes the Hufflepuff common room with all its plants and natural light, there’s nothing like fresh air and the sun against your face.

He opens his charms textbook figuring he'll get a head start on this week's reading when all of the sudden, there's something flying at his face. It's some kind of wizard sports ball that David didn't care to learn the name of, and unfortunately, David can't get out of the way or pull out his wand fast enough to avoid the impact as smashes into his nose with a crunch.

"Fuck!" David swears, clutching at his throbbing nose, blood pooling in his hand.

A boy in Gryffindor robes (of course) and a broom tucked under his arm runs up to him. "Oh man, I'm sorry! Are you okay?"

"Obviously not!" David complains in a muffled voice from where his hand continues clutching to try and stem the bleeding. "You have to fix this!"

"Oh, um..." the boy frowns, digging around in his pocket. He holds out his hand, offering a handkerchief which ew, who still uses a handkerchief?

"Is that the best you can do?"

The boy looks at him with apologetic puppy dog eyes. David groans and snatches the handkerchief from him. He presses it against his nose, wincing at the sharp pain.

"Well, we should probably still go to the hospital wing, unless you want your nose crooked,” the boy jokes.

Who does this cocky, annoying Gryffindor think he is?!

"Don't even joke about that. You'd better hope Madame Pomfrey can fix this as good as new!"

"Do you want me to walk you there?" he asks, reaching to help David up.

David shrugs away his hand. "I don't need any more interference from you. Just go off and do your dumb sports thing and leave me alone."

1. what inspired me to start writing rwrb fic?

well i inhaled the book in less than a day, i was deep in covid lockdowns and I had nothing to do one night. so, I sat down at my computer and typed out 3,000 words, posted it as chapter 1 of a fic on a whim and expected no one to read it. I woke up to a bunch of lovely comments and an invite to a discord and the rest is history!

2. how do I come up with plot ideas?

another way I come up with plot ideas is by mixing media - adapting themes or storylines from other books or movies or TV shows! sometimes you're watching a TV show and you're like...what if it was Henry and Alex though?

I would love to try second chance firstprince! I'd also really like to write/finish writing a sports au for firstprince!

🌍 What is your dream AU?

Not sure if this is to write or to read, so I'll do both!

To write: A super long, slow burn enemies to friends to lovers with lots of other tropes inside, including hurt/comfort but with a HEA

To read: Basically a giant fic with a mashup of all of my favorite tropes (hurt/comfort, secret relationship, mutual pining, enemies to friends to lovers) and that tells a unique story but also brings in familiar elements. I know that's pretty vague, but I'm being vague because I'm honestly not quite sure.

🏆 What do you wish more authors in your fandom would write about?

Oooh good question! I love secret relationship fics, and there aren't many in the fandom. Also more jealousy fics.
