If you have a problem with transmisogynized as a term, if you think it's somehow "reinventing the binary", then why don't you have a problem with the term racialized? It's not like that term implies there are only two races, white people and everyone else. Why is it that you specifically have a problem with transmisogynized, and not similar terms?

You'd think that trans TMEs catching transmisogyny strays through their proximity to transfemininity would make them think "wow, that was bad... it must be even worse for those TMA!" But the transmisogynized experience is so invisible to others, so heavily erased from everyone else's understanding of the world, that they often end up going "wow, we are all affected by transmisogyny!"
And they don't even understand how and why this hurts us so much. We're so silenced because if we weren't everyone else would have to reckon with the horrific things we have to face, so everyone just... pretends it's not real. Pretends we're all in the same boat. Even when we've clearly fallen overboard, struggling against the waves, they look the other way so they can pretend we're there beside them.
Do you not see us? Do you not hear us? Does it hurt too much to look, or do you just not care about our pain?
a lot of my childhood because i am intersex was experiencing things already out trans women experience constantly but without any understanding of what was happening to me or why. Even after I solidified my identity as a transfem, I still lacked fundamental knowledge of what that meant overall and how to articulate my life experiences.
So, honestly, transfeminism has been a blessing for me. Years of torment and confusion to finally have it pieced together. Not only included with a community of people who have been there willing to support me, but tangible advice on how to navigate life like this. I have yet to find a way to articulate how greatful I truly am for this. There's no greater joy than a burden being lifted off your back when you realize there's language for everything you've gone through and a community fighting with you.
All I want in life is to support my community..
I cannot financially as I am also struggling in that area rn, but I want to offer up something else! I'll take submissions early, but send in traits you are dysphoric about and I will make trans art with it!
I know it may not help everyone, but when I am dysphoric I create art of people that look like me and my mind will naturally see the character as themselves and that almost fools my brain into a faux sense of rep that makes me feel better about myself..
If this doesn't help you thats fine, I will be posting all of these on an alt blog @transfem-central as to not clutter this one that I SWEAR I will be more active on soon!

I've seen some use TMA (transmisogyny affected) and some use transmisogynized, which one is overall better to use? Is there difference or is it used interchangeably?
Also thank you for your account, I scroll through it to find good posts and get better understanding on how transmisogyny works, how it presents itself, etc, it's very helpful (especially since transmisogyny / transfeminism tags also show posts of transmisogynists? 😭)
Thank for your ask and kind words! This is a good question. TMA and transmisogynized mean the same thing, but the latter was invented later on because people kept misunderstanding what TMA meant due in part to its imprecise wording. People kept thinking that it implied that people who were not transfem were not affected by transmisogyny in the very general sense, which is definitely not true and not really something anyone thinks, as any transfeminist will definitely claim that some people benefit from transmisogyny, which is being affected by it. To mitigate the confusion, transmisogynized was invented, although I haven't seen a great alternative for the term TME other than just "not transmisogynized".

The closest a transfeminized intersex* person can get to being able to get out of transfeminization is to be a class traitor in some way, and as we know that doesn't make you equivocal to the actual people in power.
[*I mean someone who's intersexuality is inherent to their transfeminization.]
We could have a lot of discussions on this topic, but first we must break free from the biases we internalized when learning about transfeminism from a perinormative perspective. We cannot continue to rely on a system that sees intersex experiences as exceptions and extraordinary circumstances that we never have to genuinely consider, we need to reconstruct it from the ground up to be inherently inclusive to our reality.
Transfeminized intersex women are not a simple category, but it isn't some watered-down experience of Being Mistaken For A Trans Woman Once. It isn't the system "messing up" and hitting "the wrong target", and it isn't something that's "too rare" to care about.
