TME trans people LOVE to go online and put on a trans woman costume right up until it would negatively affect them, and then go “just kidding i’m not THAT kind of tranny lol! I’m the GOOD kind!”
TME trans people often just say “I’m trans” and don’t clarify they are a man/masc, nor actually do any work to explain whether they are affected by transmisogyny or not. They love the rush they feel when the person they’re talking to takes a less defensive posture when realizing they aren’t TMA.
They enjoy throwing their sisters under the bus because of the rush they get when we die and they don’t.
I made this blog late last night in the middle of severe flashbacks, entirely because I felt completely isolated and had absolutely nowhere else to safely put my feelings. That is the only reason the queue is currently empty.
Waking up this morning to a barrage of notifications accusing me of "baiting," orchestrating a "harassment campaign," and being inherently malicious just for trying to carve out a corner for our experiences is heartbreaking in a completely different way. It honestly feels like a visceral confirmation of exactly why a space like this needs to exist. Even when we are drowning in our own trauma, our pain is instantly treated as a political threat or an internet trick to be shut down.
I’m taking a step back to breathe and look after myself today, but the askbox is staying open. To everyone who sent kind messages and followed: thank you. It means more than I can say. 💙
