I prefer when transmigrators have a personality that makes them maladapted for modern life but they absolutely flourish in the settings and time period they get dropped into.
Like yeah Shang Qinghua is a paranoid workaholic that doesn't give a shit about murder and has a raging god complex... But if you put him in the cultivation novel he made in a demon court full of violence and danger and suddenly he's the guy you need.

Silly omegaverse transmigration + royalty idea because I've been reading a lot of transmigration stuff lately. Alpha prince x beta reader.
You were the average office worker, stuck between endless work hours and no breaks in your schedule, dreading every day you were forced to work while dreaming about a quiet and comfortable retirement, away from all the city chaos. One day, walking back home after working overtimeâagainâyou get into a traffic accident because of a drunk truck driver. In your last moments, at the end of your boring, empty life, your only regret is never achieving your so-desired retirement.
But then you wake up in a bed that's not yours, in a room you don't recognize, and a woman bolts into the room yelling how you're late on your first day of work because how dare you oversleep after literally dying?
You feel pretty alive, though, and in between her yelling and your confusion, you change into the weird butler clothes lying on the night table next to the bed, rushing to attend a certain "fourth prince" that you don't know anything about.
Context clues help you figure out you're in a different countryâhell, a different century. You heard about it from your coworker, the "transmigration" thing or something, and when you remember the novel she lent you that you barely skimmed over, everything makes sense.
You're stuck in the world of the novel, a weird place withâsecondary genders? You haven't completely grasped the concept, but you have a basic idea of what it is because of the few things you remember from the novel.
And then you meet the novel protagonists, the first prince and his fiance. Everyone is gushing about how perfect a couple they are, alpha and omega, fated mates. And you couldn't care less, not after all the work that was dumped into you when you, a bland beta, were assigned as the personal butler for the fourth prince, the youngest son of the family, and an alpha his father dotted on way too much.
But, honestly? You're not complaining at all. Yes, you have a lot of work to do, but you have way better pay than an average office worker, a much nicer place to stay than the one-room apartment you used to call home, and even paid vacations!
The main story was developing far away from you, a background character who wasn't even mentioned in the book, so, as long as you kept a low profile, your dream of a comfortable retirement with plenty of money to spend wouldn't be hard to achieve. You just need to endure until the fourth prince's engagement ceremony, where he was to choose a bride. After the ceremony, as tradition dictates, there will be a shift of the personnel serving him, a sign of a new start and a new life tied to his chosen partner. Then, your workload would decrease, and you would make use of your savings to have a very deserved vacation near the sea.
'It's the perfect plan,' you thought, standing with the other servants while the fourth prince selected their bride-to-be among the debutantes who sent marriage applications.
So then why...?
"I want him." The prince's voice is firm, with no degree of doubt as his finger points directly towards you. For a moment, you think your jaw is dislocated with how far it dropped. No, no, this must be a mistake. You were his butler. And a beta. And you were about to leave for your first vacation in a decade!
"The butler?" The king asks, nothing but curiosity in his tone.
"Yes. There is no chance I will take the crown, so there's no need for an heir either."
The room grows silent, your head spins when the king seems to actually consider his son's request. There's no way. Absolutely no way.
"Very well," the king nods. "Congratulations on your engagement."
Reader!mother X Yandere Batfamily X neglected! Y/n daughter
It was only after dying that you realised the world you inhabitated was from an old school Y/n neglected X Batfamily fanfic.
Perhaps it was some Divine intervention or something that despite losing your physical body in the accident, your spirit remained and clung to your daughter.Â
Your daughter was the protagonist of the Fanfic.
You watched heartbroken, how that man and his family trampled your daughterâs emotions. That manâs eldest made promises he could not keep, lied excessive to the point you could feel anger rise in your chest.Â
The second brat died due to joker and that man's incompetence. Pathetic
The third one was cold to the point you could feel it sweep under your dead lungs.Â
The forth brat kept his distance but you knew from your experience that he was hiding something.
The fifth brat was a pickle. There were so many times you had begged every single dirty to somehow get you your physical body back. You wanted to smack the arrogance and idioticy out of him.Â
That man's daughters were similar in regard to him, keeping their distance and giving your little daughter some hope through kind acts - like giggling and helping with a project once or twice.Â
But that was it. That was as far as they went.Â
But that man,Bruce Wayne, that scum of a man whom you had shared one night with, the same one that was your little baby's favorite superhero as a kid, was the one that dimmed her the most.Â
You could only watch wretching misery as your daughter drew up into a shelll of a person. At eighteen she packed her bag and left.Â
You remember cheering in your spirit form, grinning happily as she made friends and started to show a little light.Â
But those bastards had the audacity to call back.Â
No, more prominently it was none other than Alfred pennyworth, that did this. You knew the man who helped raised so many vigilantes and raised Batman himself couldn't be ordinary.Â
Oh it made your blood boil.Â
And now as you watched your daughter hesistaly extend her hand back and let them engross her in words of love and bullshit, you wanted to scream.Â
Dick - that name was in the literal sense, you half supported his dead parents for being better sports and giving him a name that he represented - locked your daughter in a hug meeting his father's eyes.Â
You could only watch helplessly as they drugged your daughter out of her mind and made her their little dove. She trusted them, she trusted them! âyou were going to murder them.Â
Clenching your fist, your glared, â One chance God. I'll give my daughter what she actually deserves.â
Then suddenly a light surrounded you and jerked up from the bed. â Mommyâ?â That little fragile voice made you still. You locked eyes with your daughter, clearly younger.Â
Eight⌠ten maybe
You didn't know butâ
You put a gentle smile over your face and opened your arms. She cried and hugged your helplessly. You patted her back till she fell asleep.Â
Looking over at your phone, there were three months left before a DNA test showed Y/n was the billionaire's daughter.Â
Six till you died.Â
Looking over at the clock ticking you had made your mind.Â
Those bastards were going to pay hell.Â
To be continued... (Maybe???)
A/n : I read too many Chinese novels during studying. Fyi I was bored :-)
After getting isekaiâd into the lads universe youâre finally getting your feet under you but now youâre finding yourself with another problem: the apartment you were put up in. Luckily Sylus is here to help.
i made that post the other day and then suddenly there was this fic⌠no actual kiss but its sylus and isekaiâd reader bonding for the first time so yay.
sorry formatting is a little weird i dont wanna fix it but i know tumblr people would appreciate this. not beta read!!
read it on ao3!
âyou REALLY donât care if i use your money right, Sylus?â
The idea of spending Sylusâs money made you anxious. You knew he had so much, more than he could ever need but you were worried he didnât really want you to use it. What if he only gave you his card out of pitty? Out of obligation? Or worse; what if he gave you his card because he thought you were her?
He gave it to you so quickly. The first day youâd actually managed to make your predicament known to him and the others. Youâd barely explained everything to Sylus before he was handing you his black card and telling you to use it for whatever you needed. You expected some sort of resistance, and although you felt like you had enough proof to convince everyone that you had, in fact, come go Linkon from another world, Sylus was the most receptive to that information.
Sure Jenna said her and the hunters association would take care of you, and Zayne, Xavier, Caleb, and Rafayel all believed you, but they didnât accept you. You told yourself you were fine with that, you had to be, what other choice did you have. But Sylus immediately throwing you a lifeline like that gave you some hope. That didnât stop the anxiety though.
To your surprise Sylus responded almost immediately.
âOf course, sweetie. Thatâs what I gave you the card for.â
Before you could come up with a replyâ another message came in.
âWhat are you looking to buy? Need any help getting what you want?â
Your fingers typed away, tapping against your phone screen with little clicks.
âjust some stuff for the apartment⌠maybe some blankets or a poster or somethingâŚâ
âjenna was nice enough to find somewhere for me to stay but⌠it looks like a hotel in hereâŚâ
âi feel lonely being alone in a blank apartment all by myselfâ
Sylus messaged back quickly.
âI can fix that.â
You blinked at the message. What did he mean by that?
âare you offering to go shopping with me?â
âNot exactly.â
âLet me come over. We can browse around online and find you some new decor.â
âAnd Iâll keep you company for the evening so you donât feel so alone in that sad little apartment.â
Oh. That wasnât what you were expecting. Part of you wanted to say no. What if it was awkward? What if hanging out with Sylus in real life wasnât anything like playing the game? You had only texted him so far, other than that first meeting where you explained everything to everyone.
But another part of you really wanted to see him. You could barely convince anyone else to talk to you. To be fair you werenât trying too hard, letting them have the space they needed while they processed your existence here. But the few times you had reached out or actually seen any of them in person it was awkward. Sylus had been the only one talking to you like a real person, which was ironic for someone you had previously known to be a video game character.
You couldnât pass this up.
âokayâŚâ
âheres the addressâ
âNo need, Iâm on my way now.â
It made you smile. Of course. How very Sylus of him.
Before you knew it there was a rhythmic knocking on your door. And then Sylus was standing before you. A lazy grin across his face that was definitely familiar, but that you were getting a whole new look at now.
âKitten.â Sylus greeted as you stepped aside, letting him into the living space of the little apartment.
Sylus looked around, taking in the bare walls, and drab colored furniture.
âYou really do need some decorations.â
You laughed, âItâs not what I would have picked if it was up to meâŚâ
Sylus humme. âYou should have let me get you somewhere better to stay. Iâm sure theres better places in Linkon than this.â
He shot you a smile but his tone was deadly serious.
You choked out another laugh. âYes, and how would you like to explain that to The Hunters association?â
He shrugged.
âIâve got a million different people keeping tabs on me now, I donât think we need all of them questioning why you decided to be so generous or where you got the money to put me up at, Mr. Leader of Onychinus.â
âI could handle it.â
He said smoothly, moving to sit on the white couch at the center of the living space.
You followed after him, awkwardly shuffling around, not sure how close or how far you should sit next to him.
Sylus gave you a look over but didnât comment, choosing instead to change the topic.
âWhat kind of things do you need?â
You hummed in thought, âWell⌠I have all the necessities I guess⌠But I thought maybe some bedsheets could be nice⌠a plushie maybe, or i donât know⌠a decorative pillow?â
You fidgeted with your hands before adding. âOh⌠and if you donât mind I was hoping to find some different shampoo and body wash⌠the stuff they gave me is irritating my skinâŚâ
Sylus looked at you expectantly but you didnât know what he wanted so for a few moments you both just sat there staring at each other.
ââŚThatâs it?â
âWhat do you mean thats it?â You asked, baffled.
Sylus chuckled. âOh Sweetie, we can get you more than that.â
Sylus pulled out his phone, typing away for a few moments before he spoke.
âWhat kind of color scheme were you thinking?â
You thought about it for a minute. Nearly everything was white and modern, so any color would probably work as bedsheets. You settled on your favorite color, responding to him simply.
He hummed. Scrolling again before motioning for you to come closer.
You scooted over to him and peered at his phone screen. Good god. How could bed sets be so expensive? The color was really pretty though.
âThose are way to expensive Sylus.â
âDonât worry about the price, Iâll handle it. Is that the color you want?â
You fidgeted, âYeah⌠the color is really nice.â
âGood.â Sylus added them to his cart before continuing. âTheyâre the same brand I have. They should be comfortable.â
âFind something else. Theres plenty of options for home goods. Get some blankets, dishes, curtains, wall art, whatever would make this place more homy for you.â Sylus navigated to the home page of whatever site he was on and handed the phone to you.
âDonât. Look. At. The. Price.â He said sternly.
You shot him a look before taking the phone from his hands. It looked like any other online store, some fancy department store probably, but it sold anything you could need. The prices were outrageous but you felt this wasnât a fight you were going to win with Sylus. So you scrolled for a while. You tried not to go overboard, trying to be picky and only choose a few things but but every time youâd look at something a little too long Sylus mused for you to add it to the cart. And before you knew it you had an order of anything you could possibly need in a home on its way to you, all payed for by Sylus.
âNow what kinds of soap do you like?â
And thats how your night was spent, navigating between different stores Sylus recommended looking for things to buy. Soaps, plushies, clothes. Youâd have said Sylus was going overboard, sugget you were going to spend all his money, if you didnât know better. By the end of it all you were nearly in Sylusâ lap, your awkwardness from earlier completely forgotten, in favor of being close to him so you could show him anything cool you found on his phone.
Sylus was calm and patient on the outside but on the inside his heart was swelling in ways he had thought he would never feel again. You werenât the person he knew from before, you didnât have the same preferences, you didnât talk the same way, but the you he was seeing in front of him now was someone he never knew he needed. Getting to know your favorite body wash scent, hearing you talk about a plushie you had from before you ended up here, he was finally getting to know you. There was no version of âyouâ from before that clouded his thoughts, he wanted the you that was in front of him here and now. And he hoped that youâd feel the same way about him soon too.
This serves as the premise for a chose your own adventure series I am planning on writing in the future. As such, please comment or reblog if you are interested in reading more about the concept and are open to offering support on Patreon for early access. I'm trying to see if there would be a big enough market to start the process.
If you enjoy my writing, please consider buying me a Ko-fi.
You have been isekaied into your favorite fantasy novel and have been recognized as the Chosen One of a prophecy long foretold, of a great hero from another world and their draconic companion who would put an end to the war between humans and demons once and for all.
Naturally, everyone expects you, and the little dragon who dragged you into this world, to slay the Demon King and lead humanity's grand armies to victory. Following classic isekai protagonist logic, where the transmigrator is gifted with insane powers that allow them to cheat the system, this should be no problem for you, right?
Except it is. Very much so.
You see, whatever brought you here apparently didn't get the memo about transmigration benefits, because you are exactly the same, non-magical, non-combat efficient human that you were before you were thrown into this world.
Granted, you do look a bit different from what you did before, given the black hair and white irises that identify you as the otherworldly chosen one (apparently black hair is reserved for otherworldly beings in this world and white eyes for chosen heroes) and your overall appearence becoming more animated, but other than that, there is absolutely zero change to your body whatsoever.
Since there was no way to make you a great warrior or grand mage in a short amount of time (no matter how many people insist that it would be possible because you are the Chosen One), you decide to dedicate yourself to the mastery of healing magic, for it was the only form of magic you showed a natural proficiency in.
Still, you suppose it's better than nothing, as soon enough you are sent on a journey to defeat the Demon King regardless of being ill-fitted for the job.
The Demon King, who happens to be the most powerful being in the current setting... and your favorite character.
You had always been an avid lover of villains and monsters. You'd grown to love their complexities, their tragedies, and the Demon King was no exception to this.
Born into a world to be nothing but a weapon for his kind, the Demon King was robbed of his individuality and was mentally driven to the point of allowing the human prince, the protagonist of the original novel, to kill him as his first and final act of defiance against the ones who had molded him into the 'perfect demon'.
The tragedy of his character and his villainous charisma had you latching onto the Demon King, quickly cementing him as one of your all-time favorite characters. His true form being a draconic monster was an added bonus for your monster loving heart.
So not only were you tasked with defeating an extremely powerful warrior-mage who could turn into a dragon as a mere healer, you also had to kill your comfort character with your own hands.
How wonderful.
It's no wonder you began searching for a way to end the war between humans and demons without having to face the Demon King in combat, and after hours of ransacking your brain for ideas, you come up with a plan.
You were going to befriend the Demon King and end the war through the power of friendship.
And so, you deliberatly get cursed by picking up an amulet embued with the Demon King's essence, allowing the Demon King to haunt your dreams.
At first, the Demon King treated you with cruel amusement and idignance. You were his destined enemy after all. But after continuously being treated with genuine kindness and understanding, something began to shift in his mind.
You were an enigma to him. Countless people, be they human or demon, had tried to get close to him, yet none of them had ever wanted him like you did.
Where they all flocked to his power, you flocked to him.
You saw him. You understood him. You did not condemn his monster and accepted him as a whole.
Your nightly meetings became a sanctuary for him, a chance to shed the mantle of the 'perfect demon' that had been welded onto his body for centuries. And for the first time since he was born, the Demon King looked forward to something.
Slowly but surely, the Demon King fell in love. And he was determind to make you his. Before, he was obligated to win the war. Now, he truly wanted to win it for the sake of being able to have you as his consort.
And so, you and your party members are met with constant attempts to capture you, with the Demon King himself stalking you through the cursed amulet (he watches you lead your party to cut down his men and feels a mix of pride and annoyance at the display).
The more you slip out of his grasp, the more obsessed the Demon King becomes. It did not help that some members of your party were also begining to show romantic interest in you, leaving the Demon King fearful of loosing the one thing he had grown to want, fueling his need to claim you as quickly as possible.
Your alturism has landed you in a pickle, dear Chosen One. Whether you accept the Demon King's love and are able to turn things around, or drown in his obsession leaving humanity to burn to the ground, or perhapse find love in the arms of another is completely up to you now.

Series Title/AU: My Baby Brother is the Strongest Character
<<read the synopsis and content warnings first>>
Pairing/Relationship: Gun Park
edit: former title was "Blooming Lotus" and it kept bugging me so I changed it.
The bell rang and their teacher clasped her hands together and beamed. âThatâs it for today, everyone. Donât forget your cards and when you get home, give your mom a big hug and tell her how much you appreciate everything she does for you.â
Everyone but Gun raised their hand and chorused, âYes, teacher!â
He stared at the handmade card he crafted during class. Unlike the glue and glitter monstrosities his classmates made, he opted for a simple but elegant off-white paper with folded flowers and the words: âHappy Motherâs Day. Thank you for what you do.â It took him a couple of tries, but with the teacherâs guidance, he managed to make a card that met his standardsâa card that will surely please his mother.
Once he was back at home, he ran straight to his motherâs quarters, holding the card behind his back.Â
He waited giddily for the maids to open the door and announce his presence.
âMother,â he called.
Today, Somi Park was dressed in a pale orange yukata with red flowers, seated properly on the tatami floor with her back straight and her hands folded neatly over her lap. âWelcome home, Gun. What did you do today?â
He bowed before kneeling in front of her. âToday our teacher had us make this.â He fought against his excitement and bowed as he offered her the card with both hands.
Somi took it from him.
Gun felt his heart race and he began to greet her, âHappyââ
The sound of paper tearing interrupted his words and he looked up.
Somi Parkâs smile was cold as she said, âWhy do you insist on wasting time on such frivolous things? You should have practiced your calligraphy instead.â
As he watched the card pieces fall like snow, he recalled his classmatesâ answers when their teacher asked them to describe their mothers:
Mamaâs hugs are the warmestâŚ
Sheâs gentle and prettyâshe kisses my boo-boos away.
Mommy loves me the most in the world!
***
It was Motherâs Day again, and although he didnât want to, Gun joined his classmates in making a card.
The teacher passed by and then did a double take on his table. âI see youâre using glitter this time.â
âYes.â
She tilted her head. âWow, is that a goldfish? Is it the mama or the baby?â
âNo, itâs Nugget.â
âNugget?â
âOur pet goldfish.â He then blew the excess glitter off the page. âApparently, we call him that because Nugget gives good advice, otherwise known as ânuggets of wisdom,â but I think itâs because Nugget resembles a chicken nugget.â
Holding back her laughter, the teacher nodded and Gun reached for the cup of gel pens.
âWhat are you writing?â
âIâm not sure.â
âTell me if you need help with the characters.â
âUm, teacher?â He kept glancing between two pens. âDo girls prefer pink or red?â
âLetâs see⌠whatâs your momâs favorite color?â
âMy mom?â
The teacher tilted her head. âWell, you are making this for her, arenât you?â
He said nothing.
âIf you donât know her favorite, then you pick one for her. Trust your gut. Itâs a very valuable trait for a man to be able to choose for the women in his life,â she encouraged before getting called away by another pupil.Â
Gun put down the pens and stared at the card he thought he didnât want to make. It was the opposite of what he wanted last year: the base was a gentle blue and he overloaded it with green origami leaves and pink flowers, on the front page was his clumsy drawing of Nugget, glittering orange and gold. The only thing missing was a message.Â
When the bell rang, everyone rose to their feet, bowed and sprinted out of the classroom, everyone except Gun, who stopped by his teacherâs desk.
âIs something wrong?â
âTeacherâŚâ
âYes?â
âDo I have to give the card to my mother?â
Her head jerked, taken aback by the question, but she regained her composure immediately and smiled. âYou know, Gun, a mother doesnât always have to be our mothers.â
âWhat do you mean?â
âA mother is anyone who is kind, loving and supportive to us, it can be whoever inspired you to make the card youâre holding so protectively to your chest right now.â
He blushed.Â
âDid that help you?â
âI think so.â
âAll right then. Go on now, Iâm sure your chauffeur and guards are getting worried.â
Gun bowed. âThank you, teacher.â
When he exited the building, three men in black were in front of the gates, eyeing down the security guard until they saw Gun.Â
The three men greeted him in unison, âYoung master.â
âLetâs goâoh.â Gun gazed at the security guard.
He then bowed, shocking everyone. Gunâs uncle and mother taught him never to lower his head for anyone outside the family, but he was discovering many new things, like how his family wasnât always right.Â
âThank you for your hard work, mister.â
âUh, sure. No problemâŚâ
Gun turned to the men in suits. âLetâs go home.â
âYes, young master.â
The trip back home felt abnormally long. Gun tapped his foot the whole way.Â
When he finished with his usual duties, he snuck his way to your garden, to the other wing of the estate.Â
You were sitting on a picnic blanket and leaning over the pond. ââso anyway, I put cat poop in the sandwich. You shouldâve seen that kidâs face when he bit into it. I almost gave myself away and laughed.â
Sheâs talking to the fish again.Â
âAne ue,â he called, stepping into your space.
You looked up and flashed him a bright smile. âWell, look whoâs here. Sit down, and I told you that âonee-sanâ is just fine.â
He approached your blanket but didnât take a seat.
You held up a plastic bag from the convenience store. âThey were selling a new brand of iced tea, letâs try it together.âÂ
Gun wasnât allowed to even enter a convenience store. Everything he ate, drank, woreâeverything had to be the best, from the best. Rather than be impressed, the children in his school regarded him like something was wrong with him.
When he didnât make a move to sit down, you raised a brow. âGun?â
Gathering his courage, he bowed and shoved the card towards you. âThis is for you.â
âEh?â
âItâsâŚitâs something we had to make in school.â
You put down the bag, stood up and accepted the card. As you examined the paper, he felt his cheeks burn. He knew it was childish.
âYou can just throw it away if you want. You donât have to keep itââ
He was pulled into a hug. A warm hand perched on his head. âI can tell you worked hard to make this, Iâll be sure to treasure it.â There was no coldness or mocking in your tone. âThank you, Gun.â
âYou live here alone?âÂ
Gun made a face. You lived in a one-storey, one-bedroom house with too-low a fence and gate that any intruder can climb over.Â
âYup. Make yourself comfortable, Iâll get you some coffee.â
âIâll do thatââ
âYou paid for the barbecue and then the ice cream, let me do this for you.â
He sighed, then smiled. âAll right.â
He sat cross-legged on the living room floor. The house was cheap and he understood why: the ceiling webbed with water stains and he could tell that it leaked during heavy rain, the pipes groaned so loudly he couldnât hear the neighborâs dogs, and the paint was peeling everywhere. He searched for his phone, eager to look up available condos, when he saw several printouts on your coffee table.
âOnline Gambling Patterns and Predictors of Problem Gambling Among Korean Adolescents During the COVID-19 Pandemic: A Cross-sectional Study,â
âProblematic online gambling among adolescents: A systematic review about prevalence and related measurement issues,â and
âGambling, Youth and the Internet: Should We Be Concerned?â
He shouted, âWhy are you researching online gambling?â
âOh, that?â you yelled back from the kitchen, âI'll be holding lectures to warn students about scammers and the dangers of betting.â
âWhy?â
âWhy not?â You reappeared with two mugs.Â
âThat doesnât sound like something a nurse is assigned to do.â
âItâs not, technically, but I volunteered.â
âTell me theyâre at least paying you extra.â
âNo, but the teachers have been super supportive and theyâre helping me with my outline.â You set down the mugs and joined him on the floor.
âOkay, why gambling specifically?â
You shrugged. âIf I told you it was a revelation from God, would that satisfy you?â
He sighed, but he couldnât help but smile. He already knew why you volunteered. You called them brats but anyone could tell how much you cared.
He could never understand it. How something as filthy as the Yamazaki blood could give birth to you and Haruto. At least Haruto had his fatherâs love and support, but you were alone in that abandoned wing. You never spoke of it, but he knew the reality you lived. You had to visit the kitchen yourself lest you starve, you said that you enjoyed cleaning your room but the truth was the servants couldnât be bothered, you washed and ironed your own laundry. Unlike him and the rest of the family, you hiked the expanse of the land everyday just to reach the bus station for school.Â
He had âeverything.â Thatâs what they said, but Gun felt like he was born with a leak. No matter what he received or what he did, nothing would ever be enough because everything leaked out.Â
But you didnât have that leak. Your eyes were clear every time you looked at him. Your light never dimmed in the years you spent alone in this country and far from the barest comfort the Yamazakis gave you.Â
âNee-san.â
You paused blowing into your mug. âYeah?â
âHow didâŚâ It was a miracle enough that you survived getting hit and falling into freezing water, but how did you continue after surfacing in Korea?Â
He quickly changed the subject, âI think you should move.â
âIâm perfectly comfortable here, I have my favorite pillow.â
âI meant that you should move houses, this place is a death trap.â
âYouâre overreacting, plus Iâm trying to save money.â
âThen Iâllââ
âNo, absolutely not, donât even suggest it.â
âI canât leave you here alone. Iâve seen the fence, anyone can just break in.â
âI know exactly what you feel. I worried about that when I signed the papers, but itâs been a year and nothingâs happened. Besides, I've decided Iâll stay here and save money for later.â
He picked up his mug. âWhatâs later?â
âFor when I move in with my boyfriend, of course.â You winkedâ
Something hot splattered in his hand and lap.
âOh my God! Are you okay?â You ran over to his side with the box of tissues. âTake off your pants beforeââ
ââyouâŚyou have a boyfriend?â
âWhat? No, I just said that as an example. Hurry up or the burn will get worse!âÂ
Boyfriend. He hadnât thought of that before. You, his precious sister, in a romantic relationship⌠No, he canât picture it. Not without his hands wrapped around that faceless manâs throat.Â

The first ship to hear her voice was the Red force. Shanks was about to call someone when the snail started broadcasting this beautiful voice.
Tend to a plant with poison and expect a flower are you Crazy.
Ben who had been nearby perked up curiously liking the song quickly.
Your weak and your helpless to stop me destroying you
Beckman asked around to see if anyone had called someone and forgot to hang up, but the last time someone called was well over a day ago so someone would have noticed.
Shanks wondered aloud about how someone could have such a lovely voice for once not being flirtatious. Shanks stated to leave the transponder snail alone and let it keep playing the lovely voice.
Later into the night the Moby Dick around 9pm or so a lone cook had just gotten back from a rough assignment and was making something to eat before going to bed as he was cooking someone was coming up behind him with a knife raised just before the knife went down the Snail, Thatch brought with him went off with more music.
Thatch remembering this morning when the first song started playing was excited and turned around to the knife and was able to shoot from striking.
This isn't what I wanted, This isn't what I wanted, This isn't what I wanted, This isn't what I-
Thatch yelled for help seeing it was Teach before someone came running grabbing Teach and hauling him off of Thatch, It was Marco. Knocking him out cold Marco threw Teach to some other crewmates that gathered. Marco checked Thatch over and asked him what happened he said the snail saved me. Thinking he was joking Izou hit him in the shoulder. Thatch clarified that the snail started playing out of nowhere no ring no nothing and a beautiful voice came out and as Thatch turned he saw the blade and stopped it.
Marco wondered why the snail started playing Thatch shrugged saying he didn't know all he knew is it played a lovely ladies voice. Izou asked if he knew where the snail went because it's not on the counter anymore and if anyone could find out if any of the other snails did the same thing just to find out if it was only that snail.
Up in the holy lands Shamrock and his father Garling just returned from a meeting when the transponder snail started playing. Stopping for a moment to find out that someone called or not when a lovely voice came out.
Does no one know who they're dealing with? think I'll let it go? forgot and forgive? The rage in me is terminal there's no remedy but to burn'em all.
Shamrock listened in silence for a moment before looking at his father, before he could say anything Garling got a call from another part of the holy lands. Hanging up Garling looks at his son and states that he was to find who is currently singing and bring them to Mary Geoise for Imu.
At another part of Mary Geoise Imu and the 5 elders were listening in silence.
I still got a job to do, my mission's incomplete only a traitor could consider making peace the princess has to pay for what she did that day for what she took away.
