I was born and raised a girl. I didn’t experience much sexism and nobody ever prevented me from doing anything because I was a girl. Yet my entire life I had a feeling that I’m simply different than girls. I never really recognized myself in the mirror until I got my first haircut and started somewhat passing as male.
I am a trans guy. I am not transitioning for shits and giggles. I felt this way as long as I can remember and I have no reason to transition other than dysphoria. If gender is a social construct, why am I transitioning?
