He got his done very gruesomely behind some shady ass back alleyway, just the way he wanted. Recovery was uninformed, painful, and rushed as hell. That was perfect for him (at the time).

But he learnt something, not to ever let anyone else go through a situation they must resort to that.

And of course the most important person in his life is you, hence, he’d make a million percent sure you stay safe.

He drove you to and from the surgery center, to because he was telling you you better “get used to it” but he just didn’t want any energy to be wasted, you’ need it when you were done.

And from obviously because of pain, healing and medication.

He does choose the most high quality place, but he knows the pain of waiting hurts a ton more than the pain of a bad post op, so he does it FAST.

He immediately fetches you some water or juice, not an energy drink or any alcohol, and some simple crackers after. “Don’t want ya eating anything that’ll fuck it up.” He’s just worried for you.

Later on, when you’re safer after a few days, he immediately goes to get you your favourite takeout before you wake up to finally enjoy.

If you can’t look at the gashes or scars, he’ll help you out and apply treatment if needed. He’s seen guts spill open, please, I think fresh wounds off the love of his life in the name of freedom and reclaiming your autonomy won’t get him too squirmy.

He’ll take the drains out for you don’t you even worry.

Though he likes doing high risk things, you two won’t be having any vigorous movement or sex afterwards.

If you go to the gym damn right he’s stopping you for a while, “you’re already pretty fucking massive, better have ya rest up for a few days darlin”.

WILL carry you in his arms if you ever ask.

Has some late night talks with you about what you wanna do when it heals, how happy you must feel to have such a leech off you, him telling you how hot your pecs are now, just letting you rant and enjoy the excitement of what just happened.

Post op depression is SCARED of him, if you ever feel gross and cut open, he’ll show you the beauty of it. The passionate divine in shredding open and cutting out your own body to your taste, your image. You’re a god of yourself, a sculptor, and a survivor. You’re fucking sick (in a good way).

PLUS he always has things to cheer you up fast when he seems you slipping into deterioration.

Constantly checking up with your doctor, probably more excited than you, like holy hell that’s his beautifully cut off and slashed up to his liking husband right there holy fuck you’ve been waiting for this it’s insane.

Maybe not the best at showing excitement but you do notice the “I’m so fucking proud of ya”s increasing.

Biggest hype guy.

Will take the binder off after a week or two or three or whenever your doctor says so.

Oh and if you want your pecs to be developed more now that you can see the muscles clearly? This guy has creatine monohydrate and a training split for years. You will be so disgustingly strong in just months if you want to be. Yeah he’s your boyfriend and enthusiastically romantic at that but there’s also this bromance in getting you to GRIND HARD at the gym.
