Getting a mean comment on one of my posts from someone with a username straight out of the hatewave era and calling me an “acey”…bitch 2017 called it wants its exclusionism back.

The emphasis on groupthink, self policing, and label prescription in this community is getting kind of scary. It’s a lot of Gen Z people too.

It will also never cease to fascinate me that back during discourse days gatekeepers kept mocking aspecs for being prudes who can’t stand Real Sexual Gay People and “some of them want LGBT cafes & bookstores, how homophobic is that”. And then barely five seconds after the aspec community was fucking beaten into the ground those bigots just turned around and went “kink doesn’t belong at Pride! sex is gross!” with no shred of irony.

If you’re saying “[XYZ Group] shouldn’t be allowed at Pride” and XYZ group is something other than “cops” or “bigots” then I think YOU shouldn’t be allowed at Pride actually.

”afab men can be lesbians but not amab men” when did we regress to actually, genuinely basing people’s validity on their assigned gender at birth. Gender is fake, agabs are stupid, there is no ‘kind of cis’ or ‘kind of hetero’ cishet is the box the second you step out of it you can literally be anything. There’s no wrong way to be queer and there’s no way to actually tell how someone feels about their identity so no. You can’t fucking tell people how to define themselves. You aren’t them.
