Well, I clearly couldnât help myself, but I wanted to edit the Beyond line-up of the guys to be some of the canonical rejects, with my headcanon edits on them of course! đđ For now I just did Tomatoredd, Torm, âReplacement Tomâ Matt (AKA Clatt), and Toaster Edd! đ§Ş
You can see below for some various explanations on certain details that I added! đđđâ¤ď¸
the power of paper-jams
got any in depth tomatoredd interpersonal hcs? ah la the other rejects?
Hopefully I didnât perceive this ask wrong, as youâre asking about how Tomatoredd views and feels about the other rejects? Regardless, take what I wrote XD
Torm: They find a sense of solidarity towards them, in terms of how theyâre both essentially âfusionâ rejects! Theyâve definitely noticed how generally stable Torm is, as he rarely âexplodesâ and just has overall a very lax demeanor, thus itâs quite common for Tomatoredd to ask them for âadviceâ in how to be more like them. Sometimes they do feel like theyâre getting snubbed by Torm though, as that clone also has a habit of keeping to themselves. Plus, Tomatoredd can feel that theyâre beingâŚâŚ judged by Torm at times. Theyâre unsure why, but the uncomfortable sensation does linger at times, as theyâre sadly unaware of WHAT happened to Torm. Regardless, they pretty much use Torm as a rock to brace themselves against whenever theyâre suffering from any sort of deep internal turmoil. They DO rarely butt heads at times, as the other clones in their room do perceive the both of them as the âleadersâ, thus they both need to agree on certain group decisions for everyoneâs sake. Thankfully though, Tomatoredd just doesnât have the heart to severely fight against the one person thatâs âjust like usâ, but the occasional petty squabble between them does happen anyways lol
Scribble Tom: Hands down the one fellow reject that theyâre the most comfortable in casually socializing with, even if theyâre not feeling that emotionally well. Seeing Scribble Tomâs generally âinnocentâ positive demeanor always puts them in a good mood, and they canât really ever be mad at them, even if that clone can be a bit TOO excitable and annoying at times. Unfortunately for Scribble Tom, Tomatoredd does have a bad habit of venting towards him about their internal conflicts and various fears/worries, as he feels the most comfortable in expressing these thoughts to him, and it clearly stresses out Scribble Tom. That clone is basically operating on a whole other plane of existence (both figuratively and literally) and being burdened about how Tomatoredd is afraid of being torn to shreds from the inside out, is clearly too much for them to process. Theyâve since then developed a habit of just nodding and going âmmm hmâ, while clearly not digesting what Tomatoredd is venting towards them about. Regardless, the two get along incredibly well, and Tomatoredd is grateful for their friendship. Yes, he WILL kill anyone for Scribble Tomâs sake.
Realistic Matt: Purely a touch-and-go relationship. Itâs not just how his face is just so severely uncanny looking, but RM just has this strange air to their personality that makes him kinda unsettling in most of the other clonesâ eyes. Theyâre strangely apathetic and yet RM demands the admiration of everyone (especially from other Matt clones), and thus theyâre very off putting. Even so, Tomatoredd will sometimes spend some brief time with RM, as he isnât that bad of an individual, just a bitâŚ.. strange. Heâs quite a listener and is more observant than other clones, and isnât that judgmental, so at least Tomatoredd finds some very mild comfort in spending time with RM. Still, heâs definitely lower on Tomatoreddâs ladder of âclones that are good friends to usâ.
âFilm Buffâ Tom: Heâs alright. Probably the most âTomâ Tom clone to be in their shared living space, thus thereâs definitely a small bit of envy they feel towards him, as heâs basically the most normal looking guy in there. However, his literal lack of having a sense of humor and him being quite âflatâ in his speech/lexicon is very surprising, and thus Tomatoredd feels indifferent towards him. Heâs not that good of a conversationalist and can be pretty bland to be around, so he doesnât really like to socialize with him all that much. If thereâs one thing theyâre DAMN good at talking about though is definitely movies, so rarely Tomatoredd will engage with him to just chat about films (mainly via the Edd part of him). FBT overall is just soâŚ.. inoffensive and BASIC, that Tomatoredd will shrug him off at times.
Toaster Edd: Sympathy. Pure utter sympathy. Theyâre not even jealous of how that clone is âallowedâ to freely roam the lab, considering how heâs basically fully comatose, being solely used as a kitchen appliance by Bing & Larry. A part of them wants to properly befriend him and help him socialize with others, but they sadly agree that itâll be a lost cause. Tomatoredd has at least once attempted to give a spare can of cola towards that clone (as theyâve escaped and reentered their reject room a couple of times but arenât able to fully leave the lab, just like the others), and soon realized that he canât even open up the can on his ownâŚ.. nor drink it on his own either, as they had to manually prop his mouth open and pour it inâŚâŚ Toaster Edd didnât even react to any of it. Ever since, Tomatoredd been just another passive observer, just like every other cloneâŚ..
Kitten Shopping Tom, Whereâs Waldo Matt, Nude Edd, 'Replacement Tom' Matt (AKA Clatt), etc: Totally obvious to how all of those clones escaped, but if Tomatoredd were to interact with them, itâll also be pretty touch-and-go to be honest. Maybe heâll perceive Kitten Shopping Tom to be kinda akin to Scribble Tom (in terms of their infectious happy-go-lucky personality type) and get along well with him, but heâd stray away from interacting too much with the others. For sure heâd definitely be DEEPLY perturbed by Clatt, pretty much viewing him with disgust and fear at how badly that cloneâs psyche had degraded.

hey ahah no reason what are bings and larrys respective thoguhts and relationships to the rejects. do they pay child support?
In a nutshell, Bing is humiliated by their existence.
Theyâre essentially a constant reminder of his failure at trying to artificially inflate the viewership numbers of arguably the worst film heâs directed in his career! Plus, he fully intended all of the clones (both perfect and reject) to âexpireâ after a very, VERY short period of time, so the fact that they all lived beyond that short life expectancy, made the whole situation MORE embarrassing for him.
His actual intended goal in trying to retrieve the escapee clones from the theater was just to round them all up and âreuseâ their materials, but alas, the guys already made quick work of them via the clone massacre at Eddâs house lol
Thus, when returning back to his evil laboratory, Bing was just so disheartened by the whole ordeal that he justâŚ.. didnât bother dealing with the rejects, who are essentially now the remaining survivors of his cloning escapade. After seeing the level of violence that their âoriginalâ counterparts are capable of, he quickly crossed off the idea of trying to âreuseâ their material, and simply wrote the whole situation as a loss.
Since then, he views them purely under the lens of âhey I can maybe probably use these guys as extras in my future films and I donât even have to pay them at allâ. Heâs since drafted a handful of scripts that could use them all as extras, and he has toyed with the idea of using them as film staff as well.
Even so, Bing at least treats the rejects DECENTLY, but itâs glaringly obvious that he refuses to view them as fellow human beings, and that theyâre all lesser than him. Occasionally heâll ask Larry to give them the random stuff they request (TVs, games, clothes, beds, certain food dishes, etc), while other times he just closes his ears and ignores it all. Heâs mostly miffed by the fact that the reject rooms have taken up so much space in his lab, due to excessive amount of rejects that were made during the cloning process.
Overall, Bing is very tentative in interacting with them, as he truly fears the mere possibility that any of the rejects can get their hands on him and kill him, all in retaliation for their miserable existences. Eventually, MUCH LATER ON, he begins to properly interact with them, but purely under the need of using them in his films.
Larry on the other hand is way more sympathetic to their plight, mainly since from the start, he knew that cloning such a excessive amount of clones (especially from literal arse DNA) would lead to a plethora of issues. He was absolutely right in his judgement, considering the accidental release of the perfect clones from the theater and the accidental prolonged lifespans of the rejects.
While Bing keeps constantly tiptoeing around taking care of the rejects and making sure theyâre not ripping each other to shreds, Larry is the one tasked with keeping tabs on them all. Thus, he interacts with them quite frequently on a near daily basis, and he is somewhat decently respected by the rejects. Understandably, many of them still detest Larry for being associated with that evil director, but considering that heâs now basically their caretaker, they all know NOT to push his buttons too severely.
Neither Bing nor Larry view themselves as pseudo-father figures to the rejects! Even just thinking about that will genuinely enrage Bing (as all respectable evil geniuses arenât supposed to feel âcloseâ to their man-made creations) and in Larryâs case, the idea of being a father figure to what is technically a bunch of grown ass men is pretty awkward feeling lol
Now, in regard to their thoughts on some particular rejects:
⢠Tomatoredd: Bing is somewhat fascinated by the fact that theyâre technically four guys merged into one, and he tends to observe and take notes the most on them, when compared to the other rejects. He does think his appearance and voice is quite freaky though, and he can be quite disparaging towards him at times. Bing does at least plan on featuring Tomatoredd in a possible protagonist role in a future film, as his general strange mannerisms are somewhat interesting and it can lend him to be an intriguing main character. Larry finds some sense of kinship with Tomatoredd, mainly due to fact that the both of them are âmissingâ an eye. He has noted that this clone definitely needs more psychological/emotional support when compared to the others, so he definitely makes sure to at least attend to Tomatoreddâs requests at higher rate of frequency, to at least make him a bit more comfortable.
⢠Torm: Bing has noticed that this clone tends to be quite lax when compared to the rest, as if heâs always bored and unengaged by their circumstances. He IS aware of âwhat happened to himâ (as there is a hidden camera in every reject room, for the sake of observation) and he is curious if that phenomenon can be repeated again amongst other âfusionâ rejects, just so he can properly record it and use it in a possible body horror-centric film. He feels absolutely zero sympathy for him thoughâŚ.. Larry is well aware of Tormâs situation, as he is more mindful of how to act around him. Considering that Torm has a similar âpassiveâ yet kinda snarky demeanor akin to Larryâs, he does get along well with him and doesnât mind his presence.
⢠Scribble Tom: Due to the fact that this clone seemingly breaks reality itself due to their appearance (basically being a Mr. Game and Watch-like entity, in terms of being visually 2D in a 3D space), Bing has a very keen interest in observing and studying him further, for the sole purpose of putting him in a supporting character role in a live action animated film. He does think he is probably one of the more âkinderâ clones and does enjoy his presence, and Scribble Tom absolutely leans into this, to the point where Bing is 100% fine with that clone roaming around the lab and doing whatever he wants. Larry however, sees through this âcute and innocentâ façade though, and is a bit more stern whenever heâs interacting with him. Even so, he avoids being overly cruel to Scribble Tom, mainly since he has a gut feeling that this clone has befriended too much of the other rejects, and either insulting or harming Scribble Tom WILL put a target on his back.
⢠Realistic Matt: WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOUR FACE. (Both Bing and Larry are genuinely repulsed by his eerily uncanny appearance, and will usually ignore his requests and theyâll also avoid seeing him at all costs)
⢠âFilm Buffâ Tom: Heâs literally just A Guy. Other than him being completely devoid of having a sense of humor, Bing does use him as a preliminary critic while editing his film footage, in order to improve upon his craft. Unfortunately for him, FBT is VERY critical when heâs reviewing footage, and he very clearly gets on Bingâs bad side quite often, intentionally or not. Larry actually uses him as a drinking buddy (while still on the clock of course), as FBT is the most âTom-likeâ of the Tom rejects, and thus he definitely gets into a good mood whenever booze is involved. He will often try to keep tabs on various social dramas that are occurring amongst the rejects, via chatting with FBT, as this clone somehow manages to pick up on various interpersonal issues, general opinions, etc from the other reject rooms.
⢠Toaster Edd: One of the very few rejects that made it into the theaterâŚ.. and never quite left. Due to literally lacking a brain, this reject was later found by Larry, still sitting in his seat, totally incoherent and glossy eyedâŚ.. heâs since found a new purpose just living in the labâs kitchen, and both Bing and Larry look after him at a much more often rate than the other rejects. Heâs definitely more pitied upon by them when compared to the other clones, as heâs essentially a lobotomiteâŚ.. at least the toast he makes does indeed taste good.
⢠Kitten Shopping Tom, Whereâs Waldo Matt, Nude Edd, 'Replacement Tom' Matt (AKA Clatt), etc: As these were some rejects that somehow avoided detection by the cloning machine, as they were placed alongside all of the escapee perfect clones from the theater, Bing and Larry are totally oblivious to their existences. Hypothetically, theyâre all still alive and well, as we technically donât see their bodies amongst the dead in the clone massacreâŚ.. hopefully?âŚ..
thoughts about torm for no reason?
⢠Akin to his fellow âfusionâ clone roommate, Torm is also an amalgam-like clone, made out of the remaining physical combined parts of a Tom and Tord clone respectively. Also just like Tomatoredd, they do not function as if they have DID, and instead they are truly two separated consciousnesses of the two âoriginalâ people theyâre based upon. However the similarities stop there, as he technically wasnât always just a amalgamation of just two peopleâŚâŚ
⢠Torm utterly refuses to address this aspect from their first few hours of consciousness, but they were once like Tomatoredd, as in having all four consciousness of the âoriginalâ guys. Unfortunately for them, the utter pure shock and horror of their deeply unnatural circumstances was just simply too greatâŚâŚ as one of the first rejects to be dumped into that particular room (very early on into the film being aired, as clones were being produced beforehand and during the screenings), being left totally alone with all four of them understandably losing their minds had DISASTROUS consequences. They still refuse to explain âwhat happened to the other halvesâ, as itâs still something that absolutely haunts them to their core, even after so much time has passed.
⢠Due to this matter, Torm actually keeps to themselves most of the time, and is regarded to be one of the more mentally âstableâ amalgam clones, as both the remaining Tom and Tord halves have become much more transparent with their thoughts and feelings with one another. Now that none of their personal thoughts about the other is hidden anymore, they quickly realized that they never quite hated each other, and shockingly had quite a lot of things in common. Alas, the fact that they had to endure such a deeply traumatic event in order to realize this, is sadly ironic. Their slightly jumbled up train of thought flows better than Tomatoreddâs, and Torm is much more quicker to agree or disagree with certain actions and what to say. Their voice isnât at a proper mixture of their âoriginalâsâ, as it is almost fully Tomâs voice, with a very teeny tiny hint of Tordâs Norwegian accent slipping through.
⢠They somehow managed to retain some physical leftover traits from the halves that they âlostâ, mainly in having Mattâs squared-off jawline and Eddâs hairstyle. Even so, these residual traits progressively seem to fade away as time goes on, such as their hair growing out to be more akin to Tomâs spiked-up hairstyle, with some very small hair âhornsâ from Tord starting to peek through.
⢠They are actually quite well off in terms of physical appearance when compared to other clones, as their musculature is pretty tone, along with being much taller than their âoriginalâ selves. The trade-off of course is that they inherited Tomâs empty eye sockets, much to the Tord halfâs dismay. He is still slightly disgusted by their shared lack of eyes, since of course heâs isnât used to feeling the sensation of missing his literal eyeballs. The Tom half in turn relishes in their discomfort, as they now understand how it feels to be seen anatomically abnormal.
⢠In regard to his fellow âroommatesâ, they do get quite well with most of them, especially how most of their fellow rejects are either Tom clones or have a Tom within them. For sure they get along excellently with Scribble Tom and âFilm Buffâ Tom, as theyâre pretty much on the same wavelength in their shared interests. Heâs totally alright around Realistic Matt, as itâs just that his surreally photorealistic looking face makes them feel a bit queasy around him. On their opinion on Tomatoredd thoughâŚ.. itâs indeed safe to say that they feel a small bit of envyâŚ.. how did they stay mentally and physically stable while they couldnâtâŚ.. still, they hold no real grudge towards that clone, and the get along decently. After quite some time, they DO address some of their weird repressed âjealousyâ towards them, but Tomatoredd is largely sympathetic towards Torm, and they appreciate their vulnerability in assessing what happened. When Bing and Larry allow them all to leave the reject rooms, they are pretty sociable, as they dislike just being the two of themselves for too long. They mostly like to hang out with other Tom and Tord clones, however they have been seen positively interacting with a âWhereâs Waldoâ-like Matt, and everyone LOVES Toaster Edd, so theyâre no different around him.
⢠Torm is somewhat neutral on Bing and the circumstances of their creation. Theyâve come to terms with it and have simply moved on, as stewing in hatred towards him can totally cause them to become physically unstable and split, just like what happened beforeâŚâŚ Theyâre totally fine around Larry though, as Larryâs passive and bored personality does mesh well when hanging out with them. Larry is definitely more biased with giving Torm more food, clothes, etc, since heâs one of the few clones who doesnât harbor such a massive grudge/hatred towards him and the director. Whenever now when Bing directs a film, he does at least have Torm be the explosive expert, which is something they ABSOLUTELY RELISH IN >:)
remembers I can draw whatever I want forever
forgive me for a little bit of bit infringement with the first image
im not the first to come up with the arm thing for redd, that honor goes to @rejectclone, I moreso blame us having really identical tastes in exploding them however and this being a cool S situation
tord is fine no tords where harmed in kidnapping his chud son/their chud brother.
also if it wasnt clear torm and redd are just stupid, why would an eye scanner be so low to the ground? it worked out in the end so its okay
