Tdi x Danganronpa au (Not technically my au)
So. I made a post on Reddit and a certain someone made a TDI x Danganronpa au of where bowie is the mastermind of a kg (and by the end of it raj ends up joining bowies side and causing mass chaos and despair) and we talked about it in the chat in Reddit and me and them don't regret making the au at all cause Bowie has massive potential of being an mm, plus antagonistic rajbow is awesome)
I'll try to note down everything that I know
One of the things that we discussed is the death order
Ch. 3 victims: Wayne and Zee
Traitor/secondary Mm: Raj
Survivors: Damien, Scary Girl, Axel, Emma
And here's some info about the au that I know of
Raj got framed for killing Wayne and zee, of which everyone (besides Bowie) accused raj of being the chapter 3 culprit, and after chapter 3 Bowie tries and comfort him and make Raj trust and rely on him more. And the sad fact is that no one even came to him after accusing in the third trial to apologize to him (well, besides Bowie ofc) saying that the others are just selfish and only care about theirselves
In chapter 5, Bowie would reveal he’s mastermind in the investigation to Raj. Small argument happens, but eventually Raj breaks and gives in.
Ofc Raj did sightly struggle on what side to choose if Raj should die in the state on hope live with the regret of killing Millie, or join despair, and think that what he did was right, that Millie was trying to harm Bowie. But before Raj could decide, Bowie would pull Raj into a kiss. And that would probably seal Raj's fate, Cause well... Raj just let it happen. (Also felt slightly alive again, lol I feel like Raj would be in a dead-ish like state, alive, but feel absolutely drained and dead to the world)
For how bowie became a mm in the first place.. he kinda got kidnapped by junko-
Junko would definitely use Raj as a threat to get him onto the side of despair, Kind of like the first motive of THH when the students were given the impression that their close friends/family were in danger. I still feel like Bowie would resist her at first. He would be reluctant to do something so brutal, he isn’t heartless. When Junko sees that her threats aren’t working, she forces compliance through brainwashing. This would turn Bowie into a remnant of despair type thing. He’d pretend he’s his normal self, but Junko would help him orchestrate the killing game
However, he still has feelings. Junko didn’t FULLY brainwash him like the remnants of despair, she just influenced him with despair and induced his motivation to run the killing game. Bowie would still love Raj and have genuine feelings for him, but he would want Raj to join his side so they can spread despair together. This is his main goal in the killing game rather than the deaths of everyone else really :/
And when Bowie did go missing, raj didnt take it well at all, went full panic mode and well. Kinda refused to eat or sleep till Bowie was found, Wayne making sure raj did eat and sleep while Bowie was missing, and Wayne just trying to reassure Raj that Bowie is gonna be ok and will be found eventually, Eventually Bowie does and Raj is relieved as hell that Bowie is ok and well, not dead
For when Bowie does come back, raj just showers Bowie with affection and asks if he's ok, what the hell happened, y'know, very concerned bf questions since Bowie was missing, Then comes in the whole Bowie lying about the whole him being fucking tortured and brainwashed type situation :/
Yeah as the kg went on.. . Bowie did become more possessive and yanderetisc towards raj
and at first, Bowie’s motive isn’t clear at the start. He was simply just brainwashed, almost like a remnant of despair in disguise. But as the game progresses, he becomes more and more possessive of Raj. Wayne dies in chapter 3, leaving Raj SEVERELY traumatized and hiding from everyone until Bowie finds him. Bowie subtly is manipulating Raj to join his side of despair, obviously Raj doesn’t know that....
Like I mentioned before, Raj is one of the suspects of Wayne’s and Zee's death, and Bowie becomes extremely defensive and protective of Raj, as he knows that Raj isn’t the killer.
As it progresses on Bowie feels more than just despair, and is determined to save Raj from having false hope like the rest of the cast. He becomes possessive of Raj and acts more and more yandere throughout, Bowie would make the others seem like threats towards Raj. Bowie would slowly over time break the trust and hope Raj has towards his friends. It takes a significant step forward in chapter 3 when Raj is accused.
Bowie seals Raj in through his manipulation, ESPECIALLY after the 3rd chapter, and as time goes on... Raj slowly looses more and more hope (and his sanity in the process)
By the end, Bowie’s motive is actually defined- To prove that there’s no point in having hope, and to save Raj from the “hope trying to consume him” (cough cough of which Bowie managed to save his bf from hope tryna consume him, or having false hope)
