Thinking about normal things like what the FUCK does a Ketran look like????????
Under the cut for my usual in-depth bullshitting to make things make sense to me. Description of what this thing looks like is under the cut, because putting it in the ID would be mostly repeating the same stuff.
I Crayak is Satan and the Ellimist is god, I wonder what the power that cast out Crayak is supposed to be? The Demiurge? Sophia? Monad?
I would say that the Ellimist is pretty emphatically not God, since he's fallible, flawed, occasionally selfish, and limited in his ability. He doesn't know the future, can't read minds, and frequently gets surprised by the consequences of his own actions (Rachel joining the Animorphs, the ground-based kandrona being destroyed) because he can only make educated guesses about what will happen next.
(If there is a monotheism that believes all of the above about their creator, my apologies for missing it. But everything I've learned suggests an omniscient and at minimum benign God.)
In fact, I'd go so far as to say that Animorphs goes out of its way to separate the Ellimist from Abrahamic God, by taking the time to show he makes mistakes and misses things and contradicts himself. The Ellimist Chronicles is all about how dangerous it is to get that arrogant and to be unchallenged, because he doesn't have to care what happens to the Jallians and so he has to actively work at it, or else next thing you know he'll have left the topological mixing on the stove too long and wiped out an entire species. Since I assume we're talking Abrahamic God from OP's reference to Satan, I feel like the Toomin especially exists to separate the Animorphs' view of the Ellimist (as way beyond their ken, and all their other dolls) from the reality that he's just some guy, albeit one with way more cosmic power than them.
So idek who this will reach/will interact but I got a bone to pick and I need answers.
Who was the REAL "meddler of the Galaxy" in Animorphs?
Well we got the Andalites, sure, the ones most thought of as Meddlers ever since ya boy Seerow tried to do the right thing. Yeah they genocided the Hork Bajir homeworld with a quantum virus that destabilized their DNA. Sure they muck about in the business of so many species cuz they are "stoping the Yeerk menace!" and if that means stomping you down then they have the moral high ground and whatnot.
But you know who really meddles/mettled more? Who annihilated entire species and civilizations and star systems in their meddling?
Toomin. The one who started the whole damn thing. And what does he do once Crayak points this out? Doubles down and meddles even more and rewrote time and space time and time again to retcon reality itself to get the best RNG outcomes for his little game of meddling.
The Andalites may meddle, but the Yeerks are wrong everytime they call them the great Meddlers of the Galaxy. I'll die on this hill.
No one:
K.A. Applegate: “God is a gamer and he used to be a bird.”

I redesigned the Ketrans. I don't think I ever posted my old one, but I'm happy with how much I've improved.
Lookit this cutie.

I don’t write fan-fiction. This was done because I was dared to try. Please forgive me for my awful writing.
"Was this planned, or did this happen by accident?" Mr. Toomin looked at the group of players, who seemed more coordinated than he had planned.
"Kind of both. We all wanted to be shape-shifters of some kind." Rachel spoke up, sitting at the far right side of the table. The group consisted of six players, a bunch of kids who thought Dungeons and Dragons would be a fun way to waste some time, since they were all in detention together for at least a month. "I'm a changling barbarian. I like beating things up." This was the second day of detention for the seven of them. Jake, Cassie, Tobias, Marco, Ax, Rachel, and one other kid sitting in the far corner of the room, who insisted he didn't want to play. Mr. Toomin was left in charge of the 'prisoners' for the next two months, thanks to a poker game he lost to a fellow teacher, who would've been here in his stead had he won.
