“Being invisible when you used to be seen...it's like being dead, but no one mourns you.” ㅤ ㅤ ㅤ ㅤ ㅤ ㅤ ㅤ ㅤ ㅤ ㅤ ㅤ ㅤ ㅤ ― Christine Lynn Herman, The Devouring Gray
Review: The Devouring Gray by Christine Lynn Herman Rating: 3/5
“Welcome to Four Paths,” he said. “Nobody would ever stay here if they had a choice.”
I came for the bisexuality rep, I stayed for the disabled dynamo that is Harper Carlisle, but then I got a little lost in the woods. I liked the characters and the world-building but I found the plot lacked drive and I just wasn't sure where Herman was going to take things. But the epilogue sets the sequel up for quite a bit of drama so I'm interested to see how it ends.
