Had a lot of fun coloring this one
Found an old drawing of Barracuda from seven years ago. It’s always super hard to look back at my old art because so much of it is cursed looking now. It’s hard for me not to cringe at it. Heck, even when I was a teen drawing this stuff I still found it hard to look at. I knew it was considered weird and embarrassing back then. But now I don’t care what other people think. (As long as they’re not being weird about my characters, at least…) I know I was proud of this after finishing it. I was trying to add as much detail as I possible could. I guess I did ok but there’s still a lot of flaws. (One wing bigger than the other!???) I wrote down a bunch of personality traits and facts about Barracuda when I first made him, but the whole thing got deleted and now so much of this guy’s lore (I guess you could call it that) is forgotten. I’m sure it was all cringey nonsense but it would be nice if I had saved a copy of it to docs or something. Back then I just never thought of doing that unfortunately. So now I write all of my characters lore and traits down in docs. What I can remember about Barracuda is that he’s a lying snake who wants everyone to think highly of him, when in reality he’s a coward who doesn’t even know what the heck is going on half the time. He is really pathetic, dudes just a replica too. He is afraid of water. Dude is a Seafire. RAHH but I know there used to be so much more to him than just that! Rip old Barracuda you have been forgotten.

FAA Supermarine Seafire during carrier trials aboard HMS Victorious, 1942
@Destroye83 via X
Allied fighters, a British Supermarin Seafire Mk.III and an American Grumman F6F Hellcat, fly in formation with a captured Japanese Mitsubishi J2M3 Raiden fighter. 1945.
The Raiden already bears American markings. The tail bears the inscription: Tech. Air Intel. Unit - SWPA (Air Technical Intelligence Unit - Southwest Pacific Theater of Operations). The Allied classification of the J2M fighter was "Jack."
