from the very first shop we went to, Angel Down by Daniel Kraus was everywhere. i had to order the book from the UK when it first released coz no one had it. waited 6 months for one of my 5 libraries to get the audiobook. and i was so confused. why was this book by a niche horror author suddenly everywhere???

coz it won the freakin Pulitzer Prize for Fiction!!!

well I've had a bloody good reading month. not really sure how that happened but here we are. don't ask me to pick a favourite because I simply can't, there were just too many good books

and using my evenings to read instead of muck around on my phone playing games has been so fruitful. i read 5 extra books, just doing that, and I'm really proud of myself for it 🥰
