There’s a post out there about how fandom rises up to fill the holes that canon leaves behind (something about how MCU fans wish their canon had good writing, very salty :D, if I find it again I’ll update with a link )
If you look at the Terror fandom, fanworks are overwhelmingly fix-its, fluff-n-smut, and AUs.Â
Which tells us, I think, that what the fans want from the Terror was ... for the characters to live. For them to be happy (including fucking each other with a truly staggering variety). And for us to have more of them, which given how the show ended means fixits and AUs are kind of the only way to go ....
For a creator, I can’t imagine a higher compliment TBH.Â
When I was a kid (like 8-11), I went to this sailing day camp in the summer, and every morning I would draw the symbol for Poseidon in the dirt with a stick and then I would take some of the best part of my lunch (like my Oreos or my Capri Sun) and lay/pour it down on top of the drawing of the Trident and very seriously ask for good winds.
In retrospect, I think that says everything you need to know about my contribution to Terror fandom so far.

Is there a Terror fan fic writer Facebook group? And/or does discord involve actually talking aloud to others? Because I ... don’t do that. But I’d really like to get more involved in the Terror fan fic community.
