I love being a multishipper! Like yes, Valentino thinks Angel is his soulmate and they were made for each other. Also yes, Vox and Valentino are THE couple and despite their differences they'll always work it out and make each other worse in the process. Also also yes, Vox has moved on from Alastor, he loves and cherishes Valentino deeply, but... if Alastor were to ask... he isn't sure what he'd choose if presented with the option... he doesn't think he'll pick Val; and yes, he'd die for Valentino β worse, he'd LIVE for him... unless Alastor tells him to jump, then... he'll consider it (mind you, I'm a die hard SilentStatic fan). And then there's Vox who has completely moved on from Alastor, but Alastor won't let him β he doesn't love Vox, he wants Vox to LOVE him, he'll make sure Vox stays dependent on him and Vox has no say in the matter. And last but not least β I'll die on the hill that Valentino and Alastor, if given enough of a push from the headcanon/fanfic/fanart creator CAN and WILL work fabulously as an absolute mutually beneficial sadomasochistic dynamic and they shouldn't be as much of a rarepair as they are β like yes I do think the pimp and the asexual characters can work together (because I headcanon Val as ace, fight me on this!) if only for the shits and giggles
Like yes, I'll ship RadioStatic, SilentStatic, ValAngel, StaticMoth, and Valastor in different ways. They are all made for each other but I don't put them all in the same "universe" if that makes sense? β if I'm making ValAngel, StaticMoth becomes a friends-with-benefits dynamic and nothing else. If I'm making StaticMoth then Angel is just the most profitable whore Valentino owns and is still fucking occasionally with no feelings attached.
And I feel like if I shove all my headcanon dynamics into a VERY messy polycule I won't be able to write it well, kudoes to everyone who can!!!
