The scene with “It was a perfect love story. And then I didn’t die”? Perfection.

James clutching his dad’s ashes? Incredible.

The scene where Bonnie imagined shooting Alyssa and James was so good too. The way they just suddenly died and the silence afterwards was peak. Bonnie’s scared expression made it even more terrifying. The fact that I was fully expecting them to be dead before they called her name and I realized she just imagined what it would be like.

Bonnie asking them if the pain would ever end, only to have them say that they didn’t know. Crushing every hope Bonnie had of it getting better, leading to her decision to end herself was just the cherry on top. I could truly feel Alyssa and James desperation as they stop her from ending herself. The fact that they didn’t hate her even though she threatened them and was planning to murder her because they knew that she was just another victim of Clive. That stood out a lot to me. That they could empathize with her to the point were they really just wanted the best for her, even giving her a letter when she was detained. I don’t know what it said, but I have to imagine it was words of comfort.

Also at the end where Alyssa gave James the note and left, so that James had to search for her everywere only to come up short in every place he searched. I truly believed she had killed herself after everything, just like James did, I was grieving with him, I swear.

I’m glad she wasn’t dead though, that she only wanted to go back where the trauma started, so that maybe she could make peace with it. When James started shaking when he realized she was okay was great acting, you have to love it.
