      I see Syd and Dina hang out at Physical Education, but I don't say anything. You see– I am a transfer student from the good old state of Oklahoma! That was COMPLETE sarcasm. Anyways, I don't know anyone here. It's like everybody ignores me. Syd glances at me and smiles slightly. I wonder what she's on to think to even LOOK in my direction. 

      I sit on the bench, drinking my water. I told the Phys Ed coach my head hurt  too much to focus on running laps and playing soccer. That loser actually bought it! Anyways, I kept scribbling in my diary and thought to myself, “why don't Syd and Dina come over here and socialize for once?” What I didn't realize was that they were already walking over. Why? What was the reason she could have possible walked over? Is it because I have a stain on my shirt? I look down, and in slight shock, no stains. Was it my hair? It was short… was that against the dress code? SURELY not… right? 

     They sat down on the bleachers, making no introduction. I kept to myself. Maybe it is me! I  tried  to scribble again, but the black ink got on my clothes. Now there is a stain. Of course there was. I'm glad I didnt here any giggling in the back of the bleachers. 

      The coach  tweeted the whistle, the after sound ringing in my ears like how it sounds when there is absolute silence. We all stood up with our belongings, somewhat marching to get in a line. My calves felt the stabby grass, flinching at  the  touch. We walked back into the building.

      Next we had science, my favorite subject. Syd paired up with one of her only friends, Stan. They worked together but Syd seemed annoyed. I asked to go to the bathroom and I sat on the warm toilet seat and sighed a sigh of relief just to get away from that chaos-inducing class. I heard someone walk in.
