A fast and flavorful shrimp and vegetable stir-fry that's perfect for a quick weeknight dinner. The combination of tender shrimp, crisp mixed vegetables, and a savory sauce will satisfy your taste buds in no time!
Ingredients: 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined. 2 cups mixed vegetables bell peppers, broccoli, carrots, snap peas. 3 cloves garlic, minced. 2 tablespoons soy sauce. 1 tablespoon oyster sauce. 1 tablespoon vegetable oil. 1 teaspoon cornstarch. 1/2 teaspoon ginger, grated. Salt and pepper to taste. Cooked rice for serving.
Instructions: Mix the cornstarch, grated ginger, oyster sauce, and soy sauce in a small bowl. Stir to create the sauce. In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over high heat. Stir-fry the minced garlic for about 30 seconds, or until fragrant. Stir-fry the shrimp for two to three minutes, or until they become opaque and pink. After taking the shrimp out of the skillet, set it aside. If necessary, add extra oil to the same skillet before adding the mixed vegetables. Stir-fry for three to four minutes, or until they are crisp-tender. Put the cooked shrimp back in the skillet along with the veggies. Drizzle the vegetables and shrimp with the sauce. Stir-fry for a further one to two minutes, or until everything is thoroughly heated and well coated. To taste, add salt and pepper for seasoning. Over cooked rice, serve hot.
