Granted, that's not the smartest title but did you ever kind of.. Lost connection with your tarot deck over night???
That happened to me I think. Two nights ago I had a weird dream of a big giant raven in a grass field and it was severely hurt. Someone was attacking it and I chased them off and stayed with the raven. When i woke up, shuffling and drawing from my deck felt wacky and I also got only reversed cards even though there are plenty of upright ones.
So I shuffled it with cleaning intentions, sorted the cards per arcana and suit, and let it have a bath in sunlight (not full on direct light) all sunday and today when i shuffled it to prepare it for use the sun jumped out and i took it as "thanks I feel great!" but when i shuffled and drew cards for my daily reading it went back to wacky and reversed cards only; also didn't feel any pulls in my gut which I usually feel when i draw and shuffle to know when to stop or draw.
I've read that decks can get tired or that it might be a temporary block as if put on hold for whatever reason but has anyone ever had such an experience?
My weekly card - which felt off but not that off like the other readings - ties back to being patient and not rushing things and letting things unfold their own way but it's sorts of unsettling. I love working with my deck and decided to put it away for this week and use my other deck but yeah, I'd love to learn about anyone's experience maybe of this sort of thing?
What helped you? Did it disappear on it's own?
(i can not cleanse with smoke or other substances; my daughters are under 10 and have allergies and overly sensitive skin and noses)
( I associate ravens and crows with positive things. They are important to me as symbol and animal and i never had any reason -spiritually or physically - to do different so i don't think of the dream raven as a bad omen)
