There is nothing, ever, that could invalidate all your hard work, your intention, the time you spent dedicating yourself to something. Not even accepting the fact that, sometimes, there are things that you still can't manage or figure out on your own. That there are moments in which you do need to ask for help, step slightly aside, and allow others to show you how it's best, or to simply do their part.

Your dedication and work will never be rated based on how much of it you did on your own, how much you resisted and fought all the problems and obstacles without asking for help. You are doing great now, you are doing your best. But sometimes it is not enough, not in some kind of pessimistic way. But in the one that considers the presence, participation, or responsibility of others.

The ones that not always don't want to do what they are supposed to - but simply don't even know that they could, because you work so hard on keeping it all to yourself, even when it's becoming difficult to keep it all together, even when everything is falling apart.

So don't be afraid, nor ashamed, nor greedy. And allow others to take part of these responsibilities. Even if, seemingly, they don't have any intention to take them. Because, for the worst or for the best, but it's on them too. Not only on you who is already struggling, and needs some time to rest and slow down.

You have so many ideas, so many ways to do that something, the one that is heavy on your mind. So many plans already researched, stops already pinned. And yet, with all this preparation, you are still afraid of doing that one step.

To actually do it, to go for it, to try at least one of those numerous ways to go about it. Even though you are all ready. You have prepared enough. There is nothing else to check, to consider, to ask opinion and advice about to someone...

But it doesn't matter what you choose, or how much prepared you are. The only thing that matters, really, is for how long you can be consistent, for how long can you have patience and courage needed to embark on this journey.

I know that it seems a lot. A lot to face, to do, to live. A lot to start doing all at once... But it's just the impression, it's the perspective you have from where you are, right at the very beginning, looking at this journey, so immense and infinite in front of you. So scary.

But if you just start, just one little step, the first one - you will realise that it is not that much, that the journey does not happen all at once, changing and challenging your life in one night. You will have time and space to slow down, to ask questions, to check things, to change your mind and try things differently - the first step is not an end, a curse that will never allow you to get out. You will be able to do everything, and figure out what you don't know now. You just need to start.

It is okay to change your mind. To realise, unfortunately and suddenly, that it is indeed not all that, when you finally achieve it, live it, or have it right in your hands.

It is okay to not want it anymore, to feel strange, uneasy, seeing how different it is from what you expected and imagined all the time that you spent craving it.

It's just an experience. That one thing that allows us to really understand if something is right for us, or if it might be too much or too little.

You won't be wrong or mean for "giving it up". For stopping, for walking away and choosing something else, trying something different. You will be just human. And real. A real human that had a real experience, and understood that it is not for them and that's it.

You don't have any reason to stick to it, to stress yourself and to pressure into remaining and pretending. At least not real reasons, the ones that don't come only from your afraid and already guilty mind.

A mind that uselessly takes on the responsibilities of others. Of outcomes, of people, of things that didn't even happen and don't chain you in any way now...
