Breaking Free from Fear
Training had already begun, but one of the newest Golden Bros lingered near the edge of the pitch.
He watched everyone else.
He wanted to join.
But every time he stepped forward, doubt pulled him back.
"What if I'm not good enough?"
"What if I let everyone down?"
Brock Gold #46 noticed him standing alone.
He walked over and smiled.
"First day?"
The Bro nodded.
"I'm afraid I'll fail."
Brock looked toward the open stadium gates where the morning sunlight poured across the field.
"You know," he said, "the strongest prison isn't built from steel."
"It's built from fear."
The young Bro looked at him.
"The door's already open," Brock continued. "Sometimes the only thing keeping us inside is believing we can't walk through it."
For a moment, neither of them spoke.
Then the Bro took a deep breath.
One step.
Then another.
Soon he was running drills alongside the rest of the team.
After practice, Brock smiled.
"The hardest jailbreak you'll ever make," he said, "is escaping the limits you place on yourself."
