This week’s Females of Metal Friday is Rhea Thompson. British guitarist for the metal band Tailgunner.

Rhea joined the band in 2023 after guitarist Patrick Van Der Völlering was fired from the band. Founder Tom Hewson expressed the opinion that this change was beneficial, with Rhea's energetic stage presence and commitment revitalizing the band, from his viewpoint.

Rhea has been sidelined the first couple months of this year due to her recovering from “some important and necessary care with her physical health.” Here’s to her making a full recovery and getting back to rocking it with the band.
