we have been struggling with communication so much – as we typically do on-and-off, the cycle repeats itself – to a degree its hard to believe we are even a system at all. but then we find the photos saved, the texts sent, the posts made, the notes drafted, by alters we do not know or recognise in any sense. and there are times where it is suddenly so distinctive, so unavoidable, in who is fronting. however, for the most part, we are a slurry of identity and nothingness, a paste of all of us and none of us at once.

just a year or two ago, we lived our life with such little dissociation barriers we were unsure if we experienced dissociative amnesia at all; now i am unsure if we experience anything that is not that. at this point, we do not know a headcount, we do not even know which alters from before this period of time are still around, and which are gone. our headspace is near inaccessible, if it even exits at all.
