Some of y'all are WAYYY to fucking critical of and unwilling to give indie creators any grave especially if they fuck up something they had no choice in on the pilot. Y'all genuinely do not understand how egregiously expensive animation is and it's a miracle teams are able to scrape up enough money for even a slightly rushed but fully animated pilot. 22 minutes of animation costs around 100k USD. Pilots are SUPPOSED to fit as much in as possible and not be an episode one. They've only been episode ones for indie animation because that's the best way to use the limited budget.

As both a Filipino and die hard TTS fan it's my moral obligation to share this as much as I can to all my followers & everyone in the TTS circles. Fil-Am TTS character designer Bobby Pontillas, who designed many characters like King Edmund and Quaid the Blade, to name a few, just released his first Filipino-centric animated pilot, that's 100% fully animated here in my country, the Philippines. He co-created the pilot together with his longtime friend, Bernard Badion. The best way I can describe the plot is that it's like Jentry Chau but instead of Chinese mythology it's FIlipino mythology. I've had the great pleasure of meeting Bobby twice during Icon Manila in 2018 & 2023, where not only he talked about the projects he was involved in like TTS, but he pitched to us a few different series he was developing that's based on our culture. Fast forward to now, he made that dream a reality. And my hope is that we see it greenlit into a full series, so PLEASE take just 12 minutes of your time to watch the pilot above, and if you can, consider backing the kickstarter to fund more episodes!
