hey. don’t cry. crush two cloves of garlic into a pot with a dollop of olive oil and stir until golden then add one can of crushed tomatoes a bit of balsamic vinegar half a tablespoon of brown sugar half a cup of grated parmesan cheese and stir for a few minutes adding a handful of fresh spinach until wilted and mix in pasta of your choice ok?

Over the last couple of years this has become my standard pasta recipe, and I can make it from memory. It’s always there when I want something quick and delicious and don’t want to order out. It’s the perfect base to add in some extras, too. Here are some I've used in various combinations, depending on what’s in the cupboard and fridge:
Knob of butter with the oil
Season with a little oregano, basil, crushed red pepper flakes, and black pepper
Generous splash of red wine that’s been lingering on the counter
Squeeze of tomato paste (tube kind)
Sliced mushrooms rescued from the back of the fridge
Half a block of cream cheese, cubed, stirred in ’til melted and blended in (at end)
But, you really don’t have to add any of these, because it’s just a great little recipe.

having museums full of reproductions would be even cooler than having museums full of sacred artifacts because when modern craftspeople are able to replicate those artifacts, it’s usually because they still make the same items the same way today
this means that you could have description tags emphasizing that such-and-such item has been made by these people in almost the same way for hundreds of years
having museums full of beautiful reproductions takes the emphasis off of Things and places it on the People who make them, which is really as it should be

I once saw a pin on Pinterest saying that James Potter is 'masculine in a peacock way', and I don't think I've ever heard anything more true in my life.
after a long time of regulus rolling his eyes when remus tells a joke; looking generally disgusted when he tries to talk to sirius and sees remus; and generally seeming done and disgusted with remus' presence; sirius asks him to at least try to take an interest in remus, as remus is sirius' boyfriend and regulus is sirius' brother
what sirius means is to be vaguely less dickish in remus' company; what regulus takes this to mean is to buy a few books on welsh and teach himself the language.
he is still generally unpleasant to remus, but remus finds regulus amusing, like a pathetic hissing little cat, because, well, he learned his first language for him.
remus is quite touched at regulus learning welsh for him. sirius should have expected this.
the very base of rosekiller for me is barty being a mad freak without any shame and evan having just the same issues but staying a flawless “normal person” cosplayer

these get reposted a whole lot from here to reddit to twitter to tiktok and on and on, and i don't personally care whether or not i'm credited. i made these for everyone to use, enjoy, and find meaning in them. i appreciate folks who do credit me, but if able, please at least link to the threadless shop in the previous post - folks can get an official shirt where 90% of earnings go to trans led orgs focused on mental health (which is an important matter in general, but very personal to me) and not from a scam bot site selling AI-churned maga garbage where you probably won't get one anyway. i also suggest downloading the files from my ko-fi - they are free/PWYW and you can use them to make your own shirt, patch, embroidery project, whatever. tips are always nice, cuz i do like a pizza now and then, but never required for download.
final thought - breaking the pride tradition and more than likely won't make a new piece. the top one from TDOV is all i'm making this year. i have my focus on other projects currently and i don't want to force a poster design. these came from a specific head space and my current head space is Very Tired lmao so i wanna work on other things. 👍
