I mean all authors of bsd are inaccurately to their real live persona, they are a mixture of characters, inspire by real life persona and their books. So I don't think "Bones" did Arthur dirty. Because we could as well say Mori is nothing like BSD Mori. But I agree with your interpretation of the official art and everything you said. Just wanted to point out that the hypocrisy and bias of the fandom is tragic and beyond. Thank you for your take!

Thank you for responding and I’m glad to have your support; I would just like to make one thing clear: when I say the “real” Arthur, I am not referring to his IRL poet counterpart, but to his true BSD character self as he was in the original Fifteen light novel that had existed for well over a year before Bones decided to do an anime adaption of the story.
The original Fifteen light novel, much like the full version that was released after the anime to the general public but minus the bonus chapter included therein, was handed out to theater-goers in Japan during the first two weeks of Dead Apple’s premiere on March 3, 2018, along with the initial version of the BEAST light novel.
Allow me to say it again in no uncertain terms: Bones did NOT create Fifteen. The Fifteen light novel existed for a year prior to its adaption and both the Arthur and the overall story shown therein were completely different. I will be detailing this in my article, but Arthur’s personality, motive, actions, nature, death, etc. were all completely altered in the anime from their true nature in order to suit Bones’ fanservicey needs.
Bones DID without doubt do Arthur dirty. There can be no mistaking it.
Once again, when I say “the real Arthur”, this is the Arthur I mean, not IRL Arthur. If I mean IRL Arthur, I will say IRL Arthur.
Either way, this was an easy misunderstanding I suppose, so I apologize if it somehow confused you although I perceived it to be clear from the start.
