#JackedKirby - A Virus From Space!!! 🧛🏻♂️🚀🧛🏻♂️ Captain America is Jack’s most well known creation, and he has done MANY an issue/story featuring his main character over the years... but the one that he did for Captain America #Annual3 (which was published in January of 1976) is a bit more interesting... and not just for the storyline! 💥💥💥 Every single character (beside Cap of course) that appears in this issue was written, drawn and fully created by JACK KIRBY. No other writers... no other artists... no other people’s creations... all him. 100%. Might be the first time in Cap’s history that this was the case. The early books all featured Joe Simon as a co-creator... and the later versions in the pages of the Avengers and other 60s Marvel titles always had someone else’s input. But on this one it was all Jack... and it was NUTS!!! 💥💥💥 This story has it all: Space Travel, Black Holes, robot combatants, rogue alien pilots, alien vampire life sucking creatures, a battle for the faith of all of earths organic creatures... it’s nuts. But nothing sums the wildness of this story up more then this sequence of pages where the Captive (a marooned alien pilot) transforms into his true form: an organic eating space vampire that wants to kill all the organic beings on Earth... starting with Cap! 💥💥💥 Look at the design on this creature!
