Long run today. Originally it was for tomorrow but I worked off of a mantra this morning. I've been grieving for a few weeks now from the loss of my twins. I was around two months pregnant. Kinda scared that maybe I am getting past it too quickly. I was able to bounce back fairly quickly thanks to the support of friends, family and followers. I told myself not to dwell on it. On mile 15, I tried to skip a song on my Pandora. Wouldn't budge. In turn, I opted to turn the music player on my Android and it seem as if every song of loss wanted to play. I stopped fighting because it was distracting me from keeping up my pace. Near my last half mile, I cried really bad in front of a court house. I know I scared a few folks but maybe it is necessary. I hate when folks try to tell me that it'll be okay. Sometimes, it's not and THAT'S OKAY too. Nevertheless, tomorrow's long run was swapped on my 8 week plan and I'll be doing my 400s tomorrow. If I can get up on time, I'll be kicking my own ass with the Brooklyn chapter of the November Project in the morning. I'll probably be blogging away tonight.
