#sisters?

Hear me out guys. Clearly this plot line got scrapped. I think someone round that table said, "Um...we're already making Hades a deadbeat dad to Mal. Do we really want him to be a deadbeat twice?" But think about it.

Why is evie's hair blue? Why would Evil Queen be dying her daughters hair the color of her robes?

Unless the blue was natural from her FATHER?

This could also be a reason that Hadie was never brought in as well.. As Mal already had the 'blue haired sibling'.

Another thing Mal says "evie is the only one who knows that he's my dad" in D3. But why? Why would Mal tell a girl that she hated from childhood her biggest secret about Hades being her father?

Unless...at one point it was going to be revealed that Mal and evie were HALF SISTERS?

They are on the receiving end of some very pointed looks when they come down for breakfast that morning. How loud had they been?

When Claire holds out her left hand, the atmosphere immediately changes. Laughaire squeals and throws her casted hands around her neck.

“Now you have a good one.” She turns to Jamie after her hug is returned. “You better treat her right. I will not put up with anymore abuse.”

“Neither will I Laughaire. Don’t worry.”

“There will be none of that nonsense. Jamie was raised right.” Angus gives a seldom seen smile and slaps his cousin’s back in congratulations.

“Congratulations to you both. Now we just need to get rid of her first husband.” Rupert hugs them both. Ian offers the same.

“Off with you, all of you. I need to talk with Claire.” Jenny had been noticeably quiet. Claire is a bit nervous about this talk. Jamie gives her a reassuring look as he follows the other’s out.

“Jenny you..”

“Have a seat Claire.” She does. “Jamie came to me before he went a brought the ring. With our parents gone, I am the closest person he has to ask blessings from. “ she takes a seat across from her at the dining room table. “From the time he was weaned, Jamie has been my responsibility. Our parents were busy. The life of farmers isn’t an easy one.

So, I have always been like a second mam to him. When our mam passed, when he was only eleven, well, I was both sister and mam. I prayed he would find the one God made for him. We thought he had a few times. But those lasses turned out to be quite wrong. They cheated and lied. They hurt him.

None he looked at the way he looks at you.  None he has been as committed to.” She sighs and lays down the coffee cup she has just picked up, without taking a sip. “It worries me because of your ex. But, you love each other. There is no one  that makes him look so peaceful and content. You are a good lass, Claire, deserving of a good lad. You have found it in each other. That is why I gave my blessings to the match. My only concern is for..” she doesn’t speak his name, either.

“Mine too. I do promise you that I love him. No, I adore him. He is my world, he and the baby.  I will not hurt him.”

Jenny reaches across the table and lays her hand over hers. “I know. I know my sister. You aren’t my concern. Between all of us, that bastard doesn’t stand a chance.” It was a bit of bravado but welcome, never-the-less. “Welcome to the family Claire. It is good to have the back-up. Jamie is a lot.” She laughs and Claire joins her.

“That he is.” Her hand encloses around hers.  “I have always wanted a sister.”
