I have a Regency era historical sewing question I am DYING to ask someone, but I am worried I will sound silly
Does Tumblr do “we listen and we don’t judge”?

hello
does anyone know why there is a button behind the button? is it just there as a stabiliser? does it have a name?
Hey! I’m working on a cosplay of this character and I’m a little stumped on the top. Does anyone know a way to do the webbing on his shirt that does not involve sewing along the straps? I cannot sew straight lines to save my life and think wonky webbing would throw it off. Tacky glue? Some other kind? Some way to cheat it?
Quastion:
So I’m patching some sweatpants that are getting real thin at the knees, but also are pretty stretched out. So there’s these ripples in the otherwise flat parts.
Should I cute that part out and patch both sides? Or just sew over it like it’s flat and hope for the best?
Cross stitcher friends, I have a question!
When you make a row of stitches, do you stitch one x at a time, or do a row of / and come back with \?
I'm so sorry to anyone that reads this with TTS or a screen reader, I don't know how else to word it.

Does anyone know how one achieves the fabric effect on the back of this jacket? The name of the technique would surfice greatly already <3 Edit: This dress is from @dressartmystery and I really just want to know... How. Because. DAMN!
Hey, all my sewing friends!
I'm knitting a stuffed mouse, and I want to make it a weighted stuffie.
I have the plastic pellets, and they obviously have to go in a pouch of some sort, but I don't know how I should cut the fabric (to make it like a hacky sack shape, but flatter), or what stitch to use.
Any and all advice is welcomed.
GUYS does sweater curse apply to sewing too or no because its not hard for me to sew a half zip like it is for me to crochet a crew
