this appeared to me like a fucking vision
ID: a two panel digitally sketched comic of sasha and grizzop. the first image is of sasha biting the thumb nail of her right hand, scrolling idly on a phone in her leather jacket. grizzop is stood behind her, pointing at her and shouting âSTOP BITING YOUR NAILS!â in a loose sleeves robe. the second image is sasha in the exact same position, still scrolling on her phone, this time with grizzopâs nail in her mouth as he sits, right arm raised casually, facing her and scrolling on a phone also. end ID

21. holding hands while one is balancing on a small wall - Sasha & Grizzop
âSash!â
Sasha turns, watching Grizzop stumble away from her and towards a wall thatâs slightly taller than he is. He scrambles up, unsteady with booze and good humour, laughing to himself as his foot slips on the lack of purchase, before he manages to steady himself.
âWhat are you doing?â She calls, wandering over slowly and measured, because itâs the only way the world stops spinning.Â
âLook!â He calls, setting his feet perilously close to the edge of the wall and walking along it like one of those circus performers that they saw the other night. Theyâd looked so cool and she hadnât been able to stop staring, even when Grizzop nudged her in the ribs and made fun of her for finding their competence hot.
Of course sheâd found it hot that they were good at what they do.
Itâs why theyâre together, isnât it?
âLook at me Sash.â Grizzop crows, eyes fixed steadily on his feet. âLook, Iâm so fucking nimble.â
She laughs, the sound bubbling out of her more freely than it used to. It means that people look at her, but she doesnât mind. Watching Grizzop is miles better than worrying about that.
âYou really are. Who taught you?â
He grins at her. âThe best person I know.â
Lovely though it is to hear, Grizzop looking at her is a mistake as his foot slips off the edge of the brick, sending his arms cartwheeling as he tries to regain his balance. Sasha darts forward, fast and worried, and catches his hand, helping him to straighten up.Â
Once he does, she doesnât let go, holding his hand tight in hers and walking with him as he balances his way to the end of the wall and jumps down with a little flourish.
âThanks.â He breathes, not letting her hand go.
âAnytime.â She replies, the truth of it settling heavy in her gut alongside the alcohol. âAnytime, yeah.â
12. possessive hand-holding - Zolf & WIlde
He hadnât thought much of it when Oscar handed him the invitation. A party, some sort of high society ridiculousness that Oscar felt like it would be a good idea for them to attend.Â
It doesnât much matter to Zolf one way or the other. Oscar doesnât expect him to suddenly turn into a different person for the evening, if anything he enjoys the fact that Zolf doesnât buy into any of the bullshit. And Zolf gets to see Oscar dressed to the nines, with the knowledge that he can bring him home after and ruin it.
As far as parties go, though, this one is awful.
The music is bad, the food is worse and the only saving grace is the booze. No oneâs dancing, so Zolf makes do with getting progressively drunker as Oscar talks to people that even he admits not to know, once theyâve wandered away.
He excuses himself to go to the bathroom at one point, splashing cold water on his face to sober himself up just a bit. He doesnât want to actively embarrass his partner. Thatâs not alright.
By the time he wanders back through to the party, Oscar isnât alone.Â
A man, very handsome looking (he supposes), is standing entirely too close to Oscar to be appropriate. No one else would know from looking, but Oscarâs barely holding back his disgust, the smile thatâs painted across his features entirely too wide and not reflected in his eyes.
Heâs holding his glass of champagne with his left hand, his ring glinting happily, but the man seems entirely unconcerned, leering at Oscar like heâs a piece of meat.
No oneâs allowed to do that but him.
He walks over, steady steps and resolute set of his shoulders, then reaches out to take hold of Oscarâs free hand and twines their fingers together tight.Â
âAlright.â He says to the man as a greeting. âFancy backing up a bit? Nice to let people breathe, isnât it?â
The man frowns, looking between Zolf and Oscar with confused blankness. Then his face splits into a broad, unpleasant smile. âHim? Oscar, really.â
âYes, Robert, really.â Oscar smiles, serene and satisfied. âIn every measure, he is a greater man than you.â
Oscar chuckles when Robertâs face turns dark and the man storms off, eventually looking down at him. With a quiet sigh Oscar leans in and kisses him, humming when he snarls into it a little.
âAre you going to let go of my hand?â Oscar asks, once he pulls back.
Zolf smiles. Itâs not a nice smile, but Oscar doesnât seem to mind. âNo.â
âAlright love.â Oscar laughs, squeezing his hand tight. âAlright.â

This is more mutual vulnerability but I hope it fits what you were looking for friend!
22. grabbing the otherâs hand to pull them back from something
45. comparing hand sizes, then linking fingers together
He's running so fast that he's almost worried his feet won't be able to keep up. Ahead of him, Sasha is moving through the shadows with the grace of a ballet dancer and he just needs to keep up. She could lose him so easily.Â
He likes that challenge.Â
She stops briefly at the edge of a roof, peering into the street below and then leaping graceful as anything to the next one. She lands in a patch of moonlight and he gasps at the sight of it - it feels like his Lady is there, keeping her safe.Â
He follows after her, shorter but springier and clears the gap easy enough. Sasha looks up at him and grins, so happy and bright and alive that he can't help but beam back at her.
Astounded.Â
Smitten.Â
He watches her face twist in confusion and then she's reaching for him, winding her hand with his and jerking him forward into the shadow of a chimney, the pair of them hunkering down in its protection.Â
He should ask her. What she saw. But he can't tear his eyes away from the way her fingers engulf his, petite and quick but longer than his, ending in blunt nails not sharp claws. He glances up to find her staring at them too, her eyes wide and curious as she weighs the weight of his palm against hers.Â
Without speaking, she exhales slowly and then slots her fingers between his, gripping him tight.Â
âThere's a bloke.â She whispers. âTrailing us. Didn't see him til now. Distracted.â
âYeah? By what?â He breathes.Â
âYou, you arse.â She chuckles. âDoesn't seem fair to tease him. Let him think he's got us scared.â
âIf he thinks that, he's an idiot.â Grizzop snickers. âWhat do you think? Pincer movement?â
âNah. You're sticking with me.â She mutters, squeezing his hand for effect. âBack me up when he's distracted by my knives?â
âAlways.â He says, and it sounds too much like a confession. Sasha doesn't mention it, but she does give him one of her shy little smiles, and he loves those.Â
âAlright. After threeâŚâ
She disappears into the night as soon as the last word is out of her mouth. His hand tingles as he draws back the bowstring, and long after they've finished rifling through his pockets.Â
âLet's get back.â Sasha says, holding out a hand and wiggling the fingers.Â
âYeah.â Grizzop grins, taking it. âLet's.â
